      Various models will fairly regularly go on sale for $24-$28, I'd recommend waiting for one with a lead catcher, which holds on to the fine wire as you cut it off, prevents it from flinging off, potentially at your face.

  Great tool. The grip is fairly thick so keep that in mind if you're trying to fit it into a work pouch/bag amongst a myriad of other hand tools. Theres a non-insulated version with much slimmer handles. Prob not on sale though.

  I don't know if these are the same, but the non-VDE knipex electronics cutters I bought a while ago kinda suck. The blades are too chunky and they don't cut properly flush.

  I use these all the time. I think they are awesome. Though I only ever had crappy side cutters before these.
