This might be a very specific deal. Someone who has 45,900 Telstra points and is looking for a car dashcam.
TBH, I don't know if this is a good deal or not. The Telstra page shows 117,000 points dropped to 45,900.
Quick google search shows these things go around 200 dollars. So, a dollar is about 229.5 points.

The "annoying cable running down" is up to you or the person your paying to install the unit.
@adinico: What I was getting at is that you either have to pay to have it installed (if you can't do it yourself).
Best to use your points for something else than a rubbish dashcam.
Currently $229 at JB Hifi. Things to note: 1080p, and has no screen, dependent on phone app for control and viewing. Includes 32Gb memory card.
Better to get Viofo VS1 for cheaper.
All of the Navman gps/dashcam combo units I have used, had problems with them. The quality in the software and hardware isn't up to it. I wouldn't recommend Navman as a brand.
Unless you get a Blackvue or Thinkware, all local brands are pretty much rubbish and using outdated sensors.
Can i buy points off someome?
