Heavily Discounted Chocolate Easter Eggs - Found Some? Post Them Here!

Hi everyone,

Easter will be over very soon - and Easter chocolate should start to be heavily discounted.

Finding the big discounts on chocolate Easter eggs in supermarkets and department stores is getting harder to find than previous years. All stock appears removed from some stores the day after Easter, while others have plenty of surplus.

So I'm wondering if we can have a spot where people can share any locations around the country that have decent stock of discount eggs. If there is a better place for this than a post here, let me know!

And if you've found some great discounts, please share!

    Went to Woolworths today, weak discounts. Same at Reject Shop. Why would they give steep discounts today when Easter hasn't even really happened yet.

      Agree (Though I've seen some discounts at 30% this weekend, I'm looking for better!).
      This is really intended for post-Easter discounts, but I suppose I'm getting in a little early to make sure this post is an ok spot.

    Check supermarket clearance places. There's ones around in odd places that are even cheaper than NQR.

    If you’re in Melbourne, there’s a lolly shop near Decathlon in Burwood/Box Hill that is usually quite cheap

    My Woolworths marks stuff down over 90% the day before expiry/best before is reached or if they want to clear a product. Got a heap of Cacao chocolates for 50c-70c a block the other day, normally $9.95.

    As for the easter eggs, I too noticed last year there weren't any great discounts, maybe they send them all back to the manufacturer these days??

    There was some Lindt Easter medley bullshit at Coles “reduced to clear” for $18

    It reduced me to clear out of the store

    There is a conspiracy going on. We are being denied cheap Easter chocolate. Yet no one seems to know where the chocolate is going. ACCC need to investigate

    Went to my local Colesworth today and have never seen so much Easter stuff after Easter Sunday. Normally very little left by the Saturday but there's a ridiculous amount still there this year.

        The same as before Easter but they are going to have to discount more as clearly people have pulled back on buying this year. I'd expect a change tomorrow.

          Yeh cool, I think it's best to go to the bigger ColesWorths as my local is small and runs out very quickly. I remember last year, the Mascot WW had Cadbury Bunnies for $1.75 in the end so hoping for close to that this year!

    Checked out two Coles stores in the western suburbs of Melbourne today. The discounts were a little different in both stores, but were up to 50%. One a lot of stock, the other a medium amount. Hoping for further discounting.

    Today at my Coles in Waterloo NSW all Easter choc reduced to clear like Cadbury bunnies 170g $1.67! Happy eating!

    The Fitzroy express Coles has most of their Easter stuff at 1/2 price.
