Chemist Warehouse recently introduced free shipping on prescriptions which will undoubtedly help a lot of people who aren't able to make it into stores. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy Easter :)

From 28th March 2024 onwards, orders containing 1 or more prescription items will be eligible for free Regular Post via Australia Post.

Chemist Warehouse may, at their sole discretion, change or cease this offer at any time without notice. Offer applies to orders placed on www.chemistwarehouse.com.au and delivered within Australia only. Prescription item refers to any Schedule 4 medicine available to purchase online at Chemist Warehouse on provision of a valid eScript token or paper script. Offer excludes Pharmacist Only (Schedule 3) medicines.

        But they never did well cause they were always in a huge debt, dont let the share price fool you.

  Normally I would avoid CW like the plague but after my local independent pharmacy franchised, I don't care anymore. It's not like their wait times were ever better (before or after) and now they've screwed up orders of the medication they refuse to keep in stock, multiple times.

  How long does delivery normally take on average via this way or ordering? Is it shipped from a central warehouse type of order? Or is this sent to my local CW and delivered within a day or two? Thanks for any answers, I've never used this type of service before.

  Pity it's been posted too long ago, so I can't down-vote it.

  Last (and only) time I ordered from them I received my items two weeks later (no joke) AND they were perishable products (meal replacement formula) which they left out in the sun.

  I don't know who delivered the items, Australia Post or courier, they never even rang the doorbell or knock on the door so that I could take the parcel inside and out of the midday sun.
