Samsung 65" S95C OLED 4K Smart TV (2023)

Model name: QA65S95CAWXXY

Official page: https://www.samsung.com/au/tvs/oled-tv/s95c-65-inch-oled-4k-…

Samsung's top of the range 2023 OLED is in run out with no stock at Samsung portal and Bing Lee discounting lower than current S90C prices.

Bing Lee is showing additional discount over other stores $2995 ticketed price (price match where possible) with stock clearing at most stores for click and collect and remaining stock at their distribution centres e.g. may be able to pick up from Guildfold centre for Sydney residents.

If money is no issue, suggest comparing this S95C with 2024s S95D instore; was able to compare the S90C with the S90D and prefer the older 2023 model due to the non-matte screen but the newer S95D model is plenty bright and the anti-glare performance is class leading compared to any other OLED I have seen for those with bright viewing rooms - for a premium 2024 new price.

    No Dolby Vision :(

For that you’ll need an equivalent G3 or A95L. Now have a look at the price.

      Hdr10 plus is fine.

      • DV is overrated. HDR10+ is completely acceptable and most people will be hard-pressed to notice a difference. The only advantage DV has is that there's much more available content.

    not worth

      As opposed to?

  • Last years models were under $2k for 65", this seems like they are hoping people get desperate before they do

    • 2 completely different TVs, peak brightness was significantly reduced on the S95B.
RTINGS test unit has already suffered from burn-in, whereas the S95C looks perfect.
The S95C PQ EOTF tracking is also much closer to the target than the S95B.
It's almost as if they knew they f'd up and slashed the price.
