I applied the code I get maximum discount $300

        • -3

Stop spreading such exciting but untrue rumour please

          • @Smilence03: Put item worth 10,000 and check what discount you get and post the photo

            • -1

@mangomuffin: people naturally assume that any purchase made here is for either one steam deck or one mobile phone, maybe both of them. The total purchase amount would not exceed $10k for an average consumer trying to utilize this deal.
Do you feel it is reasonable to assume that people just buy $10k worth of electronics to just get $300 off? Cmon mate. Not everyone is buying 10x steam decks.

              • @Smilence03: Just prove that I am spreading misinformation

                • @mangomuffin: Maybe try next time to add extra words like “you have to spend over $10,000 to get $300 off’ so that people don’t misinterpret? We can’t read your mind

        • Hi mangomuffin

Aaron why do you like to rip people off

Mobileciti will send you grey import refurbs. Do not buy.

Mobileciti is not a deal. Sells opened grey imports as brand new.

Check out all the 1* reviews on Google - all say the same thing. Sure you have a bunch of 5 star but sifting through the profiles most are likely fake.

    @AHUANG

Is there any merit to these accusations from patso?

Does Mobileciti sell second hand grey imports as brand new Australian stock?

    • Sounds like patso has a bone to pick. Or else he's the competition and likes to play dirty.

    • +1

I mean the steam deck is only sold in aus as a grey import cos valve hates us.

    • +2

Can't speak for patso but my experience with them has been nothing but great.

    • I checked out some of their reviews on Google. Purchase with caution. If you buy a new phone they may send you refurbished.

    • +3

I’ve been inside their storefront shop and briefly saw their warehouse one time, they definitely don’t sell second hand products as brand new.

      Hi @Look Up

We're not entirely sure of Patso's intentions or what might have led him to believe or accuse that 99% of positive reviews left by other customers are fake. It's possible there may be some misunderstanding or misinterpretation at play. Additionally, regarding the small number of negative reviews, potentially influenced by unrelated matters or receiving the wrong stocks, these issues affect only a minuscule fraction of customers, representing very minor occurrences. However, we want to reassure you that at Mobileciti, we do not engage in shipping second-hand grey import products when you purchase brand-new Australian stock. Our commitment remains steadfast in providing genuine, brand-new products sourced directly from local vendors or authorized distributors, ensuring authenticity and quality. Should there be any misunderstandings or issues with your purchase, we are fully prepared to offer returns to address and resolve any concerns promptly.

Furthermore, I'd like to mention that I've been a part of Mobileciti for over 20 years, and have been involved with the OZB commuity for over 15 years. Our dedication extends to caring for every aspect of our services, aiming to deliver products of the highest quality to the OZB and Australian community. Feel free to reach out to me via PM if you have any questions or require assistance.

      • I for one have bought plenty of times with no issues whatsoever, as have a lot of people I've recommended to Mobileciti. Keep up the great work Aaron, and Happy Easter!

    • This has been my experience as well (twice). There are comments in previous posts where others have had similar experiences. I can understand why he may be unhappy with this company.

    • It's quite obvious once you know what you're looking for. Now I'm not saying every single one of their sales are grey imports or refurbs - then everyone would definitely be aware. But here and there they are definitely passing off refurb stock as brand new.

Even looking at their website they have 5-6 year old phones being sold as brand new. E.g. Pixel 2. There is not a chance that any retailer still has this brand new in stock. Note that Mobileciti happens to be the ONLY store that sells this brand new.
Reviews also call out examples of this happening with current flagship phones, not just old ones. OZBARGAIN example here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/215192

Shows that they go to the intentional effort of resealing the box (plastic wrapping). Someone not looking out for this will not know any better. These days it's usually pull and rip stickers on the box - Mobileciti have not been able to copy this and so you will find they just use clear circle stickers instead. A simple check is to watch an unboxing video on Youtube and if your product is the same, then great, but clearly the people leaving the bad reviews have caught on to this scummy tactics

  • I was going to order a phone but now I'm hesitant. Suppose they send me a refurbished phone where I was expecting a brand new one and assume I'm careful to take a video of me opening the package and showing the phone box arrived with a broken seal, what do I do after that? Dispute?

      Hi ousema

I'm unsure of Patso's intentions, but he seems to think that over 99% of positive reviews are fake.

To clarify, if you order a brand-new product from us, rest assured that you'll receive it. We're authorized resellers for major phone vendors such as Apple, Samsung, OPPO, Motorola, Nokia, AGM, etc. Additionally, we offer a 30-day return policy for items that arrive not as described. It's not in our interest to engage in gray importing of brands available in Australia and deal with return issues.

Please note that for products like the Steam Deck, Red Magic, and Nubia, there currently isn't a distributor in Australia; however, they are available as global versions.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

    • I would say if you know what you're looking for in a genuine brand new version, then go for it. Otherwise if you're unlucky and get a refurb, I'm sure they will refund it.
It is easier for them to keep the unhappy/unlucky customers quiet by doing a simple return and refund and continuing to trick those who aren't expecting a 'trusted' company to be engaging in scum behaviour.

By doing this, they continue tricking those who aren't aware (and so they are none the wiser and are happy customers). And those that do notice, get their refund and will just purchase elsewhere. Maybe sometimes leave a negative review but not enough to dent the fake reviews. So it's a win win for Mobileciti.

  • It looks like maximum discount is 300

  • +1

Any way to price match at JB or Officeworks? I'm guessing not as there is a coupon code involved

  • oled for 1k is pretty nice, for comparison i paid 1300 for mine on release(friend ordered and shipped from the US).

  • Purchased SD OLED 512GB, hopefully will arrive soon.

  • +2

    Got the deck delivered.

No AU charger at all, unlike buying from Kogan.

    Very disappointed.

  • +2

Got it delivered and as per @Smilence03, did not come with AU charger. I am guessing this means it is not AU stock? Was cheaper on Kogan but thought I would pay a bit more for a reputable seller…. Fairly misleading given they have no mention of this on their website.
