A real OzBargainer will travel to each event just to get a couple of free sausage sambos.
Actually they will take the whole family!

    • You going to walk there to save on transport?

I heard there's a free motorboat giveaway at the police station afterwards

Crafty cops! What a neat way to catch wanted crims…. ;)
Reminds me of some cops in Usa who needed to get dna samples on a budget, how did they do it? They sent reply paid letters for a free giveaway to some suspects, who then promptly licked them shut and the rest is self explanatory!

"In El Paso, Texas, US Marshals lured fugitives into custody by telling them they had won an Xbox 360. Many people wanted on criminal warrants, usually linked to violent crimes or drug charges, thought they had won an Xbox 360. When they showed up to claim their prize, they were arrested. They made 115 arrests, clearing 129 warrants and collected o$25,686 in outstanding traffic fines. "

  • Really local benefits

  • Rounding up the crims while profiling at the same time :)

According to Google Maps and other websites, it seems that it's actually called Giba Park. Not with two B's.

(It also has a great view!)

They ran out of hamburger buns and replaced them with sandwich bread slices. You'll have a choice of chicken/beef sausages, onions, a meat patty with bits of veggie in it and tomato/bbq/mustard sauce to top it off.
There were little cups of Berri fruit juices but they were all taken within the hour.

Here are some pics of the tent and what I wished was on the menu - fresh, succulent and tender pony/chicken/llama meat.
