    Superloop 👎👎

    • Been on their gig plan and has been flawless for me for 2 years

      • Same

  • +7

A once great company now awful.
Superloop now have a 30 day cancellation policy too.

    • Agree

  • +3

This is a 30 days notice RSP.

    Is it really instant cashback?

  • +6

I'm on the 1000 plan and get nowhere near that, the support is shit too

    • Do you get the typical average speed of 700/42?

    • +6

Support was always terrible with superloop even when it was aussie based, but now its in sri lanka, it has got to be the absolute worst customer service in the history of aussie companies

      • +1

Havnt dealt with Superloop support yet as I havnt had any dramas, but TPG was horrendous for me which is why I left and went to Superloop.

i thought they were local? haven't been with them for a few years, but it was based out of Adelaide amd always helpful and didn't make you follow their script.

Personally happy to pay extra for Launtel. Their support people are happy to listen to your troubleshooting and not repeat the "power the router off->on, power the modem off->on, hard reset the modem, plug your laptop into the modem, power it off->on* sort of crap. I can say "have done the usual power cycling, hard reset the NBN modem and it's stuck on the Downstream check. Several of the neighbours don't have NBN either". They log a job with NBN and even book a tech to come out just in case. Actually several times Launtel have logged jobs with NBNco on my behalf without me even notifying them. They also fwd the NBN update emails, so you know what's going on (and how incompetent NBNco is).

      • cant be any worse than AussieBB's aussie support, Telstra's manila support or Optus' Manila support.

but now i am wondering whether I should move over or not….

  • +3

I'll probably be the one to buck the trend..

0 issues here, 100/40 since August 2023. They even emailed me to stay on after I tried to cancel and offered $15 off for 12 months.

I share Plex with 8 other households. Uploads have been absolutely rock solid.

    I get 93/37 during peaks.

9/10 for me. I'm on FTTP.

    • +2

Same here, no complaints and havnt had an issue yet in the last year and a half. Left TPG after continuous drop outs and their customer service is an absolute joke.

    • +1

yeah they solid, but their billing is horrible, also there myspeedboost is not instant, currently a TIO investigation on them.

      • Activated speedboost yesterday at around 2pm, finally activated at 8:30 this morning. Churning out this week!

    • -1

You aren't alone been when them for 2 years and had zero issues on the gig plan, I'm assuming these people bitching are probably ABB fanboys, they've got themselves bit of a cult on here and elsewhere.

      • +1

Nah I had superloop and it is by far the worst customer support I have experienced.
I had an issue with my connection and they said it was fine whien I knew it wasnt, went with Leaptel and they detected an error and sent out a NBN tech. The advice i had from SL was try a different cable.

        • That's fine, I've never had to contact them in the 2 years so I am not yet hit by the seemingly poor CS.

  • +1

30 day notice to cancel is an absolute scam, plan your exit carefully.

    • If you are willing to go through a complain with TIO, Superloop will refund you.

      • Really, Do you have experience with this?

I lodged a TIO for Internode which also had the 30 day notice, and they stuffed up as they put 2023 instead of 2024 and terminated a few days later, and got a refund for a full month as it was their mistake. How would you go about a normal 30 day notice TIO complaint?

        • +1

          @Crownanchor,
          Yes I have.
I followed the instructions by ColtNoir https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11127462/redir and got the money back 3 weeks later.

          • @jjjasont: Thanks for this, and i agree it is a very dodgy practice. I switched from TPG to Internode and had to pay twice due to the questionable 30 day cancellation terms, while the reverse transfer years previously there was no 30 days notice. Now TPG and Internode are pretty much the same and are the same company. I wanted to dispute this as this was the company double billing while only supplying one service.

  • @TopCashback AU Rep
Hi guys, I need to move out of Exetel on 19/4. If I do via you now (and move date is 19/4) do I qualify for $45 cashback?
    Thanks heaps

    • +1

Hi @fozzie yes if you purchase the Power Home 100/40 or Family 100/20 package. Many thanks.

      • Thanks, sounds great. Will place order soon :)

  • +2

Superloop, once upon a time was good. NOW, their call centre is hopeless, they have no customer retention plans. If you are on a higher $$ plan and the price drops (outside of the min 6mths commitment), they dont warn you, i was exposed to 3 months at an extra $20/mth. and right now, i havn't been able to use their product feature "Speedboost" as its dropped off the Superloop dashboard and on the Mobile App.

Superloop 30 days notice for disconnecting and outsourcing cs team

  • +1

Signed up, and it does track very quickly on TopCashBack, faster than anything else i have found on TCB.

  • @TopCashback
    1) Can I use discounted prices from the Superloop page? 100/20 for $69 for 6 months, doesn't need a code.
    2) When would the cashback actually be available? As in, when can I get the moula in my hot hands?

    • instantly there is no term and conditions that state you have to wait for it

    • +1

Hi @seanbaussie 1. Yes, if no coupon codes are added at checkout, then you should be eligible for cashback.
      2. Cashback will be available as soon as the retailer confirms and pays out cashback so that we can immediately make the cashback available to you.
      Many thanks.

  • Another +1 for me on Superloop FTTP 100/20 and getting 105/21 can’t remember the last time it dropped out but it wasn’t superloop fault more of a flooding issue in the local area

We moved houses and they gave us 250/20 for 6 months at reduced price plan then back to its normal price that’s when we jump ships to Aussie for 6 months or whom ever had a deal going

  • Is the cashback still valid? When I click on the deal is doesn't mention anything, says continue without cashback?

    • your right gone now
