Description says Ryzen 5 but title says Ryzen 7

  • How does it compare to this primarily for photoshop? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/835975

Both will be okay. 780m on the other is a more powerful internal graphics card but the upgradable ram to 32 is appealing on this one. Cant go wrong with either with simple photoshoping.

This one I don't think you can get to 32gb without mismatching RAM as 8GB is soldered onto the board.

This is also a great option for a little bit more. Can stack coupon with 3.3 cashbsck at cashrewards. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/837329

      • Nice that one would be more ideal still bright screen but not OLED so don't have to worry about burn in. 780m would be nice to have just for light gaming. Is arc 7 any good?

Looks good except for WiFi 5 in 2024? and only one USB C port. Power adapter is the pin type and not USB C

    That's a reaaally bright screen

In my experience, HDR brightness is not the standard max brightness. You usually can only achieve those brightness numbers on HDR content. Not sure if this is standard.

    • Yes, the HDR brightness is different. However, the reason it is mentioned is because:

HDR400 - This is honestly fake HDR, it displays HDR contents, but it's not really true HDR.
HDR600 - Technically, this means it is legit HDR (not top notch, but starting from HDR600, it is at least acceptable / proper HDR).

Given that it has an OLED display, HDR600 isn't a surprise.

  • Hey guys will this edit 2/4k videos on capcut? With a few layers/broll?
