Bought one today and loving it so far. Used to own XM5’s and AirPods Max in the past, for pure music/audio lovers M4’s are a great pair! ANC and transparency features are incredible and these have UNBEATABLE BATTERY LIFE, you won’t be disappointed.
App and touch controls are awesome and much better than Sony IMO.
Buy it, own it, hear it, harder better faster stronger.

Apart from the inconsistent auto turn off, randomly turning on in the case.
I also hate the all touch interface (compared to the touch + buttons on PXC550).
haha yeah the turning on is annoying. I sometimes wonder why my phone is silent then realise it's randomly reconnected to the headphones. Hopefully something that can be improved in firmware.
I'm staying on the original firmware, I did a firmware update last year and it basically broke compatibility with half my devices (it would connect and after 10-15mins start playing high pitch noise, only on some devices). So I returned it and got a new one.
It's honestly so sad to see such a good device be ruined by silly software bugs and bad hardware/UX decisions.
The battery life is legendary, the sound quality is just so damn good. But the overall package, especially for the RRP leaves a lot to be desired.
How did you find the comfort vs the XM5? My ear (outer) ends up sore coz of the cup using the XM5 for more than 1 hour
I wear them around all the time for hours and they don't end up becoming tight etc. it feels soft on your head due to the band.

Cups are big, but a smidge shallow.
I’d personally still recommend the QC45/SE, as they’re more comfortable with better ANC, and the tuning is fine.

out of the SE and the black colour, which colour does everyone like more?
I'm tempted to purchase the black colour from Officeworks but I've noticed you can only get the SE colour on amazon and I like that it's a bit different

I have the se pair, ordered from the amazon previously linked and they are awesome, love them more than my xm4 buds and headphones
YMMV but all 3 of these I had were severely unbalanced, right ear was a lot louder. Reports on Reddit indicate this is a somewhat common issue.
I'm on my second set because of this. They started fine, but then randomly the balance went. Amazon replaced it easily.
That said, still the best sounding consumer cans from the majors. And I've got a lot of them. PSB M4U8 right behind but the build quality on those is junk.
NC still better on Bose/Sony, but these sound a world better.
I tried both these and XM5 in store and what I found was -
Momentum has better audio, more comfort, nicer feel in hands, less clunky look, similar ANC to XM5. XM5 mic and call quality was much better, not that the Momentum 4 was bad but the XM5 is great for calls. If you're getting it for mainly audio Momentum 4 is a no brainer especially with the battery life. Couldn't recommend these more especially if you catch public transport to work these will pay themselves off in the first week.

Can any long-term users comment on the reliability of these headphones? From the reviews I have read so far, the sound quality is amazing but the reliability is a bit of a dice roll. Looking to upgrade from my xm3 of 4 years.

Got them a couple months back on the SE Amazon deal - so far going well
Picked up em today - upon using it for the first time it definitely sounds better than my XM5 however the ANC performance you can definitely tell the difference, XM5 reigns supreme in the ANC category.
Used for just about 1 hour and no ear fatigue yet - will continue using in prolonged hours and see how it goes.

I tried a couple of times, but I found B&W px7 S2E was better, more detailed sound than this Senn's pair.
You can turn off the ANC and hooked to the USB port as it has a decent DAC onboard.
