    I think due to the weight of the battery being so long and slim, it'll be pretty unstable.
    It does have a 1/4" tripod mount that you can use, but yea I would be scared of it toppling over!

  It's pretty heavy for a selfie stick but for my purpose it was quite useful as I used it to mount it to the fence to record a tennis match. Didn't need to keep coming back to it to change batteries.

      I used a few random bits and pieces I had at home.

         Something similar to this but used it upside-down.
         Hooked the U part underneath where the gopro mounts into the stick and mounted it as high as I could reach

         Then I had 1 of these which I attached to the base of the telesin battery and put a carabiner on it

         Then I used any random elastic strap, fed it through the carabiner, and hooked it onto the fence in whatever position to make the camera as straight as possible

      It's makeshift, it works, but it does move if the ball hits the fence hard enough or close enough so might need to adjust it once in a while during the night
