Was looking for a tent for the family. Had my eye on all the Colemans and brands on Snowys but saw this one from a brand which I like (mostly) and thought the price was fair for what looks like a 10P tent.
Also liked how each room is properly divided with bucket floors and room dividers that actually zip all the way through and shut.
Not a huge fan of the instant up as I want something that packs away slightly smaller and the design looks pretty intuitive to setup quickly and heard horror stories of the instant up poles buckling and snapping under heavy wind and being hard to replace. The inside liner on this one can stay attached so after the first time it should speed up the process.
Also no dark room tech but I tried dark room on a Coleman I borrowed and the coating looks pretty brittle and I also found it too dark inside to find things during the day. But I can see how dark room is a must have for some so this isn't the tent for you if that's the case.
Couldn't find many reviews of it online but for $499 felt like it was worth a punt for what looks like a well made tent from a decent brand (although I know things have probably deteriorated since SRG bought it…)
Also it is about 8m long which is 2m longer than other 10P tents so keep that in mind if you intend to camp in places with limited space.
Nicely described.
Edit: Down below the page, there’s YouTube video which details features. Looks cool.
