I unpublished my comment but when I clicked on Go to Deal it leads to Appliance Central? Which is the vendor I was complaining about. Why do you have Appliances Online in your title but Appliance Central in your link?

I also got sent the wrong tv. I got sent a Sony that was a lesser model. I was there trying to explain it to the delivery drivers who after repeated phone calls to appliances, they took it back. It took 3 weeks for the correct model to arrive and many many phone calls and emails

Yeah so to reiterate my earlier now unpublished comment because the person who posted this thread keeps changing the title:

Beware buying from Appliance Central. Bought a TV from them, they sent from NSW to WA when I'm in SA. I called up and they wanted to send same TV from WA to SA. I refused due to chance of damage and it was outside delivery window at this point. Asked for refund. They wanted to hit me with 20% restocking fee. I had to call CBS and threaten claim with small claims court to get it resolved. Many phone calls and emails. Check out Appliance Central reviews many people with similar issues.

You put the wrong vendor in the title, then when I shared my experience, you replied with a review site for the same vendor. I am perfectly relaxed why don't you calm down and post the right links rather than rushing it and misleading people?

        • How is it misleading people when the link goes to the correct website? I made a mistake, get over it.

@Maths Debater: I'm not going to play these games with you. You know what you did. Take it on the chin and stop getting defensive.

@TheHocus: LOL so you neg the deal because of the retailer? Good on you.

              • @Maths Debater: Go read the rules for negative votes. It clearly says you can make a negative vote if you've had a previous negative experience with the retailer. Not sure why you're so keen to dismiss concerns — another user already has as well — almost like you've got a hidden agenda. You associated with this site?

                • -4

@TheHocus: Yeah, except they weren't salty to neg the deal. These things happen, people normally get over it. I'm sorry you have lost sleep over a missing TV, it must have been a traumatic experience.

@Maths Debater: I'd argue having a 5.5K tv go missing is not exactly a fun experience and would be doing the same thing to warn others.

    Not a great deal.

No need to take offense to my opinion, relax champ.

Poor price and a very questionable company based on the reviews online, no for me

Being sensitive will get you nowhere.

@Maths Debater: This is nothing personal, multiple people simply don’t agree with you that it’s a great deal. I don’t know why this has upset you so much.

              • +1

@Maths Debater: When people downvote it’s because they disagree that the deal is good, it’s not because they think you’re a bad person.

Popularity games are hard to win and are generally meaningless to your quality of life.

More expensive than JB, Bing-Lee and even Harvey, not a deal.
