Applying for Another Credit Card

Hi,

If ANZ are waiting for me to submit documents, can I apply for another credit card in the meantime? I prefer the one at Amex but have already applied for ANZ. Will Amex reject me etc?

    If you have alot of previously closed credit cards on your credit report it is highly likely Amex will reject you.

    If you have nothing else besides the ANZ I think it might still be worth a shot.

      I do have a lot of previously closed ones but they may have been from a few years ago. Would that make a difference?
