Yes but for 250mbps it is fair.

Yes but econnex, which = no

Terrible company per other users' experience.

Just a reminder why you should avoid Econnex at all costs (or profits in this case lol).

Refusing to be transparent about privacy issues

Thank you, they should be banned then! I almost fell victim.

After one year I still haven't received $63 cashback.

Sorry, this is Shopback, not Cashrewards.

  • How do you add a VOIP plan to optus NBN, is it done after the fact as there is no option during sign up?

  • You must remain with Optus for a minimum term period of 75 days to be eligible for Cashback.

By which time you'll have forgotten about the cashback you were meant to get.

Personally, I haven't had any issues with cashback with econnex. But just PSA, I haven't seen anywhere or any communication to let me know that econnex database has been hacked or that the vulnerability has been plugged. So just be a bit mindful of your personal details if you have never signed up with them before. As for me, I am not too worried, since my details are now in public domain after the Optus and Medibank hack.

Just a bit of background, when I sign up for newsletters. I use an email address with a domain that I own, with the name of the business before the @ sign. So if I start receiving spam, I know where the spammer got my email from. So recently I have started receiving spam emails asking me to renew my "Netflix account" using the econnex email.

    • So econnex are spaming you ?

      • Nope. IMHO, I am speculating at this point, making up things that may not have happened below:

They got hacked and either they haven't noticed or haven't told anyone. Hacker has my details along with their entire user database. Sold it on the dark web to spammers. I start receiving spam to my unique econnex email address.

The only part that I know to be true is the last sentence.

        • Based on my research, the data servers are potentially in a 3rd world country. Plus most of their employees are in asia and india. In those countries privacy laws do not exist and i would imagine they also try to cut corners to save on cyber security costs. Any employee could potentially be selling the information and worst case scenario they get sacked with no criminal conviction

www.bulc.club is perfect for this! Only problem is we can't really validate their claims of privacy, so I mostly just use it for marketing and shopping as opposed to legitimate services. It's just good because it allows unlimited forwarders

    • with the name of the business before the @ sign

I do the same with almost all my accounts.

However, some businesses such as Tangerine and More don't allow the + character in the signup email.

  • Negative vote due to Econnex not responding to my question in their last post.
More so that they reported my comment and then told off by Mods

  • How do we still allow post for econnex when users can’t get simple answers to our questions from the store rep. This is basic, extremely basic stuff we are asking. Should be banned until they provide the required info. Dodgy AF

  • Swho are econnex ???
