It’s something that now comes with the newer M3H Model 3 Highland but it’s great that retrofit options are available for the older models. It’s a nice add on for folks with younger kids especially.
And hence the discount, since those with 2024 models won't need it anymore. Not a bad price though
I would buy this if it used the Tesla data like the front screen. Having to hotspot the phone is a pain when the front screen uses the Tesla data

I’ve been using the kit for about 15 months now and it has been really good. Glad I did it. Install can be a little tricky on the MY but nothing that can’t be done in an afternoon. There are a number of tutorial videos out. The M3 install is an easy 2 hour job.

Got a Satonic. Doesn't upgrade further than Android 11. Pain in the ass as apps no longer compatible unless you want to find the magical version to install manually

anyone know how hard the fronk kit is to install?
On a Model Y 4-5 hours for a first timer. On Model 3 approximately 3 hours. It’s not technically difficult and there are only a handful of parts but removing the struts and installing new ones can be a little finnicky and time consuming especially on MY as there’s limited room.
Are the rear entertainment screens for m3 actually identical in hardware and software to the Hansshow ones? I saw in a prior post you linked to a Hansshow review hence i wasnt sure.
Hardware yes. Software yes with a minor caveat that Hansshow usually customizes their boot screen with their company logo. Apart from that the android os will be completely the same.
