    $8.13 shipping kills the deal…

    • +1

I was about to make the purchase and then $8.13 shipping to Victoria came up.

      • Should be a lot less - Switch game cases are very thin allowing them to be sent at letter rates (should be no more than $5 or so).

Is this just advertising for your website?

    • Spruiking their own website is fine - as long as the community decides (through votes) that the posted bargain really is a bargain, it can't hurt anything to mention where it came from.

More online tools to find bargains (so they can end up here) helps everyone.

Not a bad price but Amazon sometimes go down to $48 with these kind of games anyway so if you can wait, HODL.

      • +1

Camel camel camel shows the all time low as $62. When did you last see it at $48?

    Stuff Nintendo, long live yuzu

    • +2

Nintendo is a greedy corporation doing greedy corporation things, just like Sony and Microsoft and Epic, etc.

But be honest, you just like stealing games

      • I exclusively steal Nintendo games now.

        • So, you've changed nothing from before. Well done 👍🏻

@Faro: I've set up a savings account with the money I would typically spend on any Nintendo Switch game, and I plan to use it for a holiday at the end of the year.

            • @J1990T: Good for you! That'll show the big N!

            • +4

@J1990T: Honestly piracy will always be that convenient excuse corporations used to shut down emulation anyway. But I think what broke the straw for Yuzu was the amount of games leaked from Nintendo especially with BOTW 2. So yeah it doesn't matter if you pirated or not, Yuzu was (profanity) the moment those games were leaked and pirated BEFORE release date.

            • +1

@J1990T: Bro… you're going to go on holiday with the money that you would have spent on Nintendo games? How many Nintendo games were you buying annually? Where are you going on holiday with your ill-gotten gains?

              • @Sidog: This would be implausible on PC or The other consoles, but Switch games are ridiculously expensive. Almost all the best ones are Nintendo first party titles, and they'd rather lose millions of sales than ever discount the price to modern levels.

Unless you never buy the best games, Switch is the most expensive console.

                • @GandalfTheCheap: I totally get it, that's there business model right. It's also sadly the business model Sony seems to be moving towards with there first party games… I guess my question was more, if you buy three full price Switch games a year, that's max $210… that's not much of a holiday, it's barely a night out these days.

  • Slighty more cents than amazon price with shipping.
Worth it if you want to support independent I guess.

  • Super mario wonder is too easy and is for kids. Honestly was disappointed as. Bought it digital with huge regrets

    • I agree it was too easy but that didn't ruin the enjoyment for me. Definitely not a game strictly for kids.

I played through this with my 7 year old, good fun, recommended.

Looks like Amazon have price matched.

    • I just gonna post it!

    • When I checked they had price matched mario kart too, but that seems to have changed

  • @gamesaver, of is your website fixed? I was using it regularly to track physical prices until it started pulling data from the Nintendo eShop.

    • Hi SonicsBlue, when the Nintendo Shop started doing physical games we added it, and decided to also add digital stores to help with purchasing decisions. We're still testing this functionality, and are looking to remove digital deals from the homepage, while keeping digital prices on individual product pages.

We love feedback, so let us know any time via any of our social media accounts!

      • Ok, Thank you for your reply.

I use GamerSaver regularly just to track physical specials by retail stores, though I use Deku Deals to track digital stores. I understand the my use case would be different to others who may use your website.

One feedback I would offer, is that when on the homepage before is that the product would show the cheapest deal and that would be invariably from a digital store, thus a cheap deal from a physical store will not be shown unless the user actively clicks on the product itself.

I would suggest on the home page , to have three clickable tabs would solve the problem - this will enable the viewer to choose their preference before drilling down onto a product level. On the product level - you can include all the prices from all relevant sources regardless of original viewing preference, as a comparable view as per normal.

The three clickable tabs on the home page, would be ideally : cheapest overall, cheapest physical, cheapest digital. This would be the best of both worlds.

        Cheers, I love your website.

        • Thanks so much, SonicsBlue — that is very useful. We don't believe you actually are an edge case, and we are investigating changes that will conform more closely to your use of the site. Overnight we turned off digital stores until we implement something new.

  • Fantastic game. My four year old nephew enjoys it, and I enjoyed it too. Yes most of it wasn't difficult, but that's not the only way to enjoy a game.
