Kindle Scribe Discounts

I’ve $600 worth of credit from my employer which I can used to buy a gadget. Recently sold Kindle Paperwhite and now keen to buy Kindle Scribe.

Anyone able to advise if Kindle Scribe, specifically 32Gb+ model goes on sale? Saw some old posts which talks about kindle discounts, but don’t know if it’s on the base model with basic pen or premium and higher storage.

    If you’ve previously had a Kindle, doesn’t matter how old, Contact Amazon directly, and see if they’ll give you a discount

      Yes !! Discount would be based on history (I’m guessing) and I think, they check on how long you have kindle (that’s what it looked when operator said,
      “let me check your account usage bla bla”)
