Pretty good deal. Myers sells this for $114.95 or $80.47 with Myer One.
Close to the $25.82 previous popular deal

This is not a Holden of scissors. Its using German steel, like the Maybach of scissors lol
What's the difference between these $115 ones and this 22USD one that looks the same that also says Germany on the blade (though an Amazon review says his was made in China) https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/zwilling-j-a-hencke…
both look the same, guess we got the ozzie rrp 😂
Have these and they are a truly average pair of scissors. Would not buy even at $10
So the BMW of scissors, will break after 3 years.
Reminder that ‘German steel’ is just a formula and process, much like a ‘French press’ is just a type of coffee machine.
More ranting on these scissors here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15020633/redir
I don’t know if these are the exact same product code as the previous overhyped deals, but you hopefully get the picture that these are generally not worth anywhere near the RRP offered by Myer and the like.
For $115 that scissors better cut by itself
i have a set of these from a previous deal, they made in china boys and girls
It seems true. Very well hidden though
Thanks, cancelled my order.
Thanks, just ordered 2
The picture clearly says "made in Germany".
Look again, closely.
Some key words are missing
Thanks. Im out
This 30 dollar scissors look like 25 dollar scissors
Bought a couple of titanium scissors from Amazon for $3.5 each on special. They're just fine.
these sell for 22 USD direct from manufacturer on US site - https://www.zwilling.com/us/zwilling-shears-scissors-twin-l-…
Amazon listed RRP is BS
EDIT: at least this 'sale' price from Amazon JP matches the RRP there - https://www.zwilling.com/jp/p/41370-001-0.html?cgid=tools
RRP is bullshit
Chinese made low end rubbish, have to get the refund last time
Was yours stamped with, "Made in Germany" still like mentioned above?
No,made in China like HeXa posted
Hmmm, that's weird. Henckels is usually the cheaper of the two, but that's the one stamped as "Germany" in this instance. All provided links show the two-man, which is the logo for Zwilling. Whereas Henckels products are stamped with one. It seems the link provided by AustriaBargain may be fake item..?
@WasBargain: You will expect its made in German or at least Japan for the RRP but its made in China, it might worth $10
RRP in this case means Recommended Ripoff Price
Can anyone recommend a good pair, made in Japan perhaps?
I have these. Absolutely fantastic cannot recommend it enough. Made in Japan. Can take apart.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/782445
Another OZbargain pair, should still be made in Japan?
shipping next day at $27-ish atm
I have this. It's pretty good. But it's mostly for electronic/hobby use.
I have the Oxo good grip ones, they cut well but I'm not the biggest fan of the flexi rubber handles.
I also have the Victoronox ones and they cut amazing, but do not come apart for washing.
I think it's entirely possible that the manufacturer is making these in Germany and China.
It's just that Japan are getting the Chinese made product (this deal) and the US are getting the German made product.
Hence, all the confusion.
If you check both links in Hexas post above it confirms what I propose.
both US & JP site have "Made in China" version as their main image - but then the 'action shots' are stamped 'Made in Germany'
but yes, the JP site says origin in China, and US site says Germany
Ok, I was going off the text info.
It's also possible it's a recent change to where they are marketing their products, so maybe even last year Japan still had the German made ones?
Either way, it's still dodgy of Amazon. In the extended Product info Amazon AU have this;
Manufacturer ‎DKSH Australia Pty. Ltd.
Lol. Usually that area has Country of Origin but nope they've specifically excluded that..
Possible, but it’s more likely that they have completely offshored production to China, and the ‘Made in Germany’ photos were ‘accidentally’ used on their store. There is no economic reason to continue making the same product in a higher cost factory. They would only do this if they released a ‘premium’ range, similar to what other brands do.
Also, the word ‘German’ (as opposed to ‘Made in Germany’), can either mean that the company is German, or that they use ‘German steel’, which is just a marketing term for a midrange alloy with different properties to e.g. Japanese steel.

I was going off the text from the zwilling US page:
Country of origin: Germany
I dont disagree with you, I understand all that. You are referring to the image/s, I wasn't.
If I needed to argue the point for a refund etc, the specifications hold more value than some image, as photos / artwork is often portrayed as "for illustrative purposes". Whereas they cannot argue against specs in such a way.
That's dishonesty and another reason not to buy.
100% the AU listing is confusing AF.
Perfect scissors for cutting stacks of $50 banknotes
Anything over $50 is considered either highly specialised, or heirloom. Don’t spend more than $40 on quality kitchen shears.
I treated myself to some Crescent Wiss shears for the garage a while back and they’re an absolute pleasure to use. They’re large, smooth, very comfortable, and are worth well over the $30 RRP. I believe they’re still manufactured in South Carolina, but the company are well known for making much heavier duty tin snips and cutters line cutters.
I’d consider them to be the Knipex or Wiera of scissors.
It’s interesting that Zwilling’s own page for this product code (41370-0000) lists an RRP of $21.99 USD. Notice the product photo on that site has that code and ‘Made in China’ laser engraved on the blade. The Amazon listing shows two photos with that code, but one says ‘Made in Germany’ on it, and another just says ‘Germany’ (which can imply that the company is German). They really should have different product codes if they’re using different grades of steel: it’s the key component that makes the product useful.
My read is that they moved production to China - like they all do - and allowed quality to slip (shocked Pikachu), and the seller ‘accidentally’ used the wrong stock image.
I really don’t understand this strategy - it’s a great way to ruin your brand’s reputation. Le Creuset did this, and quickly reverted back to French production when the returns flowed in.
Just get a pair of Mundials. You can take them apart if you want to throw them in the dishwasher.
The blades are good quality. Have been using them for decades.
https://www.bigw.com.au/product/mundial-multi-purpose-take-a…
Well argued; you got me.
There was an OzB deal on these a while ago, got a pair and they’ve been great.
We use the Oxo Good Grip series scissors and shears. The ability to take them apart and throw them in the dishwasher after cutting meats is amazing, and also makes it easy to sharpen too.
I have the henckels cheaper version and that's already amazing. This is obviously higher tier. So would assume this is better than even mine… Although mine is already perfect.
made of vibranium?
$115 for a scissor?!
