Ahh that’s awesome another F1 car is released!

Thanks op. I feel like these are going to only interest people that are f1 or Technic bike fans. The price per piece is just not very attractive for these sets unfortunately. Still a good deal for those looking for these sets 😊

Even if it was a good price per piece, I still don't really understand why people would buy them if they weren't fans of F1, motorcycles or Technic sets?
The pieces generally appear pretty specific to the builds, is it just a hardcore Lego fan thing to collect each type of piece?

  • Ordered the Ninja one with free delivery via OnePass. Thanks!

  • When I check online it says both sets are not in stock. Is this just because they are new and haven't been added in yet, or have they sold out already?

    • F1 Mercedes is sold out already, but I can still add the Kawasaki

  • I've updated the post to say the Mercedes set is OOS
Not sure if people normally do anything else when this happens?

    • OOS

      yes some will cry

  • Damn missed it the F1 car. My wife has been so excited that another one has come out.

    • Looks like the F1 car is back in stock this morning for online order

The F1 car would be 1000 times better if it came with a Lego figure of Toto throwing his headset

    $249 at Kmart for F1

  • Just got home from lego store with R2D2. Went to bigw. Lots of lego there. Apparently lego moving from warehouses so believe will be more sale on this month to get rid of stock. Still some cost more then lego store. Example the planet one. Got it anyways as got a few. Small millennium falcon and so on so with the 10% off still "saved"

    • Not so quick!

Neither is this year's car by the looks of things.

    • Ordered, Thanks OP

    • Bought this last week. Company benefits also had 8% discount for Catch.com.au so got this for $220.

    • That's one good looking set

Do LEGO make a corolla or Camry?

    • Why are these so expensive? I was expecting a remote and a motor kit at this price. Sorry, new to legos. Didnt grow up playing with these.

      • +1

Cause Lego realised they can charge whatever they like and people will pay :(
I was hoping their price increases would teach them a lesson, unfortunately it’s done the opposite 😂

        • Ok that’s not fair but yeah Lego are the apple of the toy world

          • @bowtiehoon: Glad I am not addicted to these.

  • They are returned to normal price; Amazon listed AMG F1 at $280, bit too much though
