Shoutout to Vertigo6 for this past deal which I've plagiarised - I took advantage of that deal a year and a half ago, and I was very happy with the wines.
Firstly, if you've got an AMEX card, check for a 'Spend $150 get $50 back from Laithwaites. I then stacked that offer with the above cashrewards offer, where you get $60 off 12 or more bottles of wine and also 12% cashback (though it does specify exclusion for cashback rate: "Conjunction with any credit card cash back scheme", but worth a try)
In essence, I just bought 15 bottles of great quality Australian Shiraz for $7.32 per bottle, delivered.
The wine I bought (and I've tasted one or two of them before, and was impressed) was:
- Super 7 Reds + Tyrrell's Shiraz Add-On (15 bottle bundle) A10877 - $215.85
- Unlimited membership for reduced delivery (be sure to cancel later) - $3.99
Subtotal = $219.84 - Cashrewards cashback = -$17.44 (probably won't track, if used in conjunction with AMEX offer)
- Discount = -$60
- AMEX cashback = -$50
Total Paid (after cashbacks and discounts) = $109.84 (maybe down to $92.4 if cashback does track)
