  • Perfect timing. I am down to my last bag of Brazil São Paulo beans, which are a great bean also.

I’ll be placing an order this morning with some colleagues who I have introduced to Lime Blue.

Also I think the Peru SO is one of if not best I have ever drunk.

Keep up the awesome work Lime Blue.

    • Morning @N1K WOW that's amazing to hear, love when the timing works our perfectly for Lime Bluers. I'm thrilled to know how much you've been enjoying our fresh coffee. Your wonderful vote of confidence and outstanding spruiking skills to help spread the word are truly appreciated. It's going to be hard to top your Peru compliment, but we'll keep working hard to continue raising our bar :)

Thank you so much for placing another terrific order with us, your continued support really does mean a great deal!

  • any deals on decaf beans coming soon?

    • +1

Hey @skuzy never hurts to ask!

We only have enough decaf on hand right now to supply any existing orders or new regular priced orders. I'm honestly not sure when we'll have a deal featuring our decaf. Perhaps you could place a relatively small order at regular price to tie you over and then make the most of the deal pricing when it's next on special, utilising our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system :)

      • Any different flavor decaf? Finding the current batch a bit 'malty'.

        • Hey @tunzafun001 appreciate the check in!

Our current Swiss Water Process Decaf does lean towards the deliciously chocolate end of the flavour spectrum. We have had Decaf options in the past the lean towards the bright, fruity end of the flavour spectrum. However, right now we only have our SWP Decaf in stock. We'll likely add fruity Decaf's back in them mix at some point in the future, I'm just not sure exactly when that will be :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: Cheers, but I don't like the fruit flavours. I mean more in the dark chocolate spectrum. I found the swisse water decaf almost sweet, and reminds me of a malt drink.

  • I'm gonna try the Timor one for once … Wish me luck!

    • +1

      Good luck @Jeaso :)

Thank you so much for rolling the dice with the first Timor coffee we've ever offered, it really is quite delicious, so I've got my fingers crossed you love it!!!

      • Who knows! Could end up being my new fave! Either way I'll spread the word =]

        • That's the potential beauty in taking a walk on the wild side to try something new :)

Woohoo that's wonderful to hear @Jeaso and truly appreciated, word-of-mouth recommendations from customers is absolutely priceless to us and does make such a positive difference!!!

  • Hey Tom,

I hope this message finds you well.

I'm interested in the Timor-Leste, was just wondering how 'funky' the anerobic is?

Some carbonic maceration and anerobic coffees i've had have been very overpowering with extreme funk.

I'm about to pull the trigger though :)

    • Hey @bakeyourownAU overall more positives than negatives, so no complaints from me, hope you can say the same?

Terrific question, I'm glad you double checked. You're spot on that some Anaerobic (CM included) processed coffee can be in the extreme funk category. I do personal enjoy the extremely funky coffees once in a while for their uniqueness, but I agree with you that too much of them can be on the verge of overwhelming, so I think they're best enjoy by the cup here and there. Whereas, I drink heaps of coffee that has a clean, crisp taste to it…Now back to actually answering your question haha. I can confirm I personally find this Timor-Leste Water Anaerobic Natural Single Origin to be a very clean coffee, yes it has some funk to it, but it's in the background of the flavour AKA I could drink it all day without thinking I'll overload on too much funkiness :)

      • Thank you so much! Just pulled the trigger Tom.

Also I second the comment on the Peru. Its such an amazing bean and pairs so well with milk. Beautifully sweet as a filter or long black but cuts through milk enough.

        • Fantastic, thank you so much @bakeyourownAU it's truly appreciated :)

How wonderful to hear, I'm absolutely wrapped to know how much you've also enjoyed our Peru SO, especially with such a fantastically worded vote of confidence!

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: Hey Tom,

Just tried the Peru as a filter on my drip coffee machine, my god that is absolutely amazing. I'm thinking of buying 1-2kg more of the Peru and freezing it. Absolutely sensational.

For those who are willing to try it as a filter:

60g/1lt filtered water, medium grind (90 clicks on a Kingrinder K6). Beautiful notes of chocolate, spice and even some tobbaco (in a really positive way though).

            • @bakeyourownAU: WOW @bakeyourownAU thank you so much for such an astoundingly positive vote of confidence, I'm absolutely thrilled to know how much you're enjoying our Peru!!!

I love the amount of detail you've gone to as well, it's always terrific to hear customers flavour interpretations. The Peru is actually one of my favourites (I mean they all are a favourite in one way or another for me truth be told). Those delicious, sweet, earthy notes remind me of the smell of rain (Petrichor), which in turn reminds me of being on a coffee farm, witnessing a beautiful storm followed by a spectacular rainbow. I know a storm and rainbow sound fairly common, but the memory this Peru Single Origin brings back for me was an experience I haven't had again and I've seen a lot of storms and rainbows since…anyway enough rambling from me, thank you once again for sharing you're terrific feedback :)

p.s. the freezer is a fantastic idea!

  • Cheers, had a go and got 1Kg of each of the Peru and the Timor!

    • Terrific @bleugh love seeing a combo order, best of both worlds, thank you so much for your order!!!

  • Hi Tom, noticed Monday 11th March is listed as dispatch date, however it's a public holiday in Vic.

    • +1

Hey @powerhead very nice detail pick up indeed!

Sincerely appreciate you reaching out to double check. You're 100% correct. Although I'll be working, delivery companies won't, so there'll be no dispatch on 11th March (don't worry, if you're reading this and you've already selected that date we'll be reaching out to reschedule for you). We have our system set to block out public holidays and it was unavailable yesterday…looks like a tech glitch, all fixed now. Thank you so much for letting us know :)

  • just a quick question, do you guys do pickup?

    • Hey @toadbload never hurts to ask!

Right now we exclusively offer delivery, but we will revisit the prospect of a click and collect option in the future :)

      • Really is quite a shame, looking at the senders address from my most recent order ( delicious coffee btw) you guys are quite close to me, if the sender's addresses is to believed. Hope you do get a click and collect system on

  • Is this medium roasted? My last pack of Brazil SO will finish in about 2 weeks, but wondering if it’s as good as that one. We primarily drink milk based coffees.

    • Hey @DeeArrow never hurts to check, better safe than sorry!

Yes, these Single Origins are both medium omni roasted. WOW love your super speed drinking skills, I'm thrilled to know how much you've enjoyed our Brazil SO. Both of these SO options are of similar quality. From a flavour and cutting through milk perspective, our Peru is closer to our Brazil. That said both options are delicious and cut well through milk :)

  • Would either of these be good for a superautomatic? Phillips 4300 latego

    • Hey @Heracles26 glad you've taken the time to check first!

Both of these coffees will extract equally well. That said I've found coffees closer to the chocolate end of the flavour spectrum perform best with machines such as yours. With that in mind our Peru is more chocolatey than our Timor, so Peru might be your best bet :)

  • Any chance for a decaf deal soon?

    • Hey @AncientWisdom who know what tomorrow will hold!

We tend to focus on one deal at a time, so I honestly couldn't tell you when or what our next deal will look like. However, I can say we do take customer feedback onboard, so the more requests the higher the chance of them impacting the result :)

  • Do you do any light roasts?

    • Hey @monopoly appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

The two coffees featured in this deal are medium omni roasts. We do sometimes offer lighter roasts on certain coffees e.g. some carbonic maceration single origins. If one of our coffees is on the lighter side of medium, you'll see the below in the product description :)

"Brew Method = Light-Medium omni roasted to suit Pour Over/Drip Filter and Espresso"

  • Just received the Peru beans, and noticed the recommended milk recipe is 1:1 (20in 20out) in 15 seconds. To my assumption this would be very underextracted & sour. Can you explain why this is the suggested recipe?

    • Hey @Mistle thank you so much for your order and taking the time to reach out, it's truly appreciated!

Just to ensure we're on the same page our espresso machine brew guides for the Peru are below:

      Black Espresso Guide1 : 2 Ratio = 20 In : 40 Out : 27 Seconds
      Milk Based Guide 1 : 1 = 20 In : 20 Out : 18 Seconds

The black guide is a double espresso and milk based guide is a double ristretto. Both guides work well with milk, we just think the milk based guide is ideal for milk based drink in terms of the overall balance of flavours. We recommend this guide when adding 150-200ml of textured milk. If you have a larger coffee e.g. a mug of coffee then we'd recommend using our black espresso guide. A double ristretto may be too concentrated from a flavour perspective to be enjoyed black, hence why we only recommend it for milk based coffees :)

Not a fan of the name Lime Blue Coffee, the idea of lime and coffee doesn't go well

I think Lima Blue Coffee would be better, especially because of the association with Peru coffee
