Hi OzBargainers, just saw this 5G phone on special at Woolies Cabramatta for $99. I thought might be useful for anyone who needs a spare phone or for kids/elderly. Just be reminded that it's locked to Telstra network.

    I got my 5G modem from Japan but you can find my model on ebay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/166349057637
    Its made by Samsung, 5G, extra long battery life and can connect to many devices

  Bought another one of these @$99 Woolies a few days ago- they're still in a few stores (just not displayed on the phones counter).I've found them to be extremely durable. Mine has fallen into seawater about X10. (Just blew it out with compressed air). Using a boost Sim , in this Telstra offered phone. Haven't much to report as to WiFi/ 5g reception issues.

  For those wanting to root, vivo don't allow to unlock bootloader and no one had been able to crack their custom boot.img.
