Sports Event Drums - Help Me

Hi all, OzBargain has taught me a lot from how to drill my first drill hole to finding me a home to live. I’m here with a weird request.

I’m going to a soccer event and would like to take drums to cheer for my team.

1) Where can I buy a drum for sport events? As you can imagine it’s not going to be used much just probably only during sports events. The soccer match is in CommBank Stadium in parramatta and not sure the allowed size to take.

2) Where can I learn how to drum just to support my team without making the beats unbearable?

I always wanted to pick up this for fun but was too shy to pick this up. Now that I know how every moment in life is so precious why not do something that I always wanted.

  Please don't.
  It's just annoying.

  Only time drumming at a sporting event is OK is if you're a member of a drum squad or similar. Didn't Souths NRL team have a drum squad a few years back?

  And I say that as someone who loves drumming - both as a participant (in the appropriate musical setting not at a sporting event) and listener.

  Just do you fellow spectators a favour and get the notion out of your head.

  The only reason I wanted to go down the path of drums as I always had a wish and never got it to fulfil it.

  If you go on FB/Gumtree, someone will likely be giving away some el cheapo kids drum set for basically nothing.

  People are asking me not to drum as it will upset people as I can’t drum. There goes my life long wish.
