Good for smoothies if you have the freezer space or jam
Very good quality but on the small side

Wow perfect for freezing
This is certainly rejected stock by Colesworth. You should feel bad for the farmer who is making a massive loss on this.
Feel sorry for the consumer. Only weeks ago shops were trying to sell strawberries $5 a punnet. No one was buying and stock everywhere.
Now it's stock overload and many places trying to get rid of it, but most of these cheap punnets are already going mouldy it's so old and you cannot even use for jam.
If only they weren't greedy and sold it for abit cheaper in the first place…
Same thought, +1
still $4 each at coles
What do you mean weeks ago? Stock still being sold for $4-$5 in Perth.
Most of it sits on the shelves from what I’ve at various shops…
Why should he feel bad? He didn't reject it.
Felt bad for guidedlight, there are -8 vote, so +1 from me
We do feel bad for the farmers, but we cant do anything to fix this. Only the government can, but they'll do SFA.
Agree. Farmer and consumer impacted.
Why would Harris Farm accept stock rejected by Colesworth? I thought they had higher quality standards than them?
Money for jam
Good for smoothies if you have the freezer space
You appear to have misspelt frozen daiquiris
Good for smoothies if you have the frozen daiquiris space?
Do you need to do anything to the strawberries before freezing them?
Before you freeze them, put them in the freezer.
Wash and cut the stalks/stems. If you freeze by shoving them in a plastic box, they will freeze together in a block. Freeze on tray then place frozen berries in a box you'll have individual pieces then they're good to pull out as and when you need them without having to break up the block.
Thanks. Good tip re tray!

Circle them widdershins thrice whilst chanting in Latin.
Cut tops off, mash with a potato masher togehter with a little bit of water, put in ice cube tray or popsicle mould.
I find the smaller strawbs are sweeter and nicer than the big ones
St Ives store only had about 6 trays and they were not very obvious to passers by, they are stacked on the left in front of the store. Quality looks ok with a few damaged/old ones.

Little mould won't kill U, if worried just cut of the mould still safe, why so much should go to waste? Also animals can eat it..
Not many at Lindfield. All gone now.
Why aren’t more people posting location stock. There’s about 40 trays at pennant hills.
Probably 20 trays at Broadway as of 2pm
Good man. I’ve processed 12 of 15 punnets and only found 3 bad strawberries. A few are squished (over filled punnets) but in general they are sweet. Bargain!
Thanks for this managed to snag a tray an hour after you posted
Thanks OP, I got the last tray which was hiding in the ‘back’
Was that at Mona Vale store? Cheers
Gotta wonder how they can sell them for that price, even now the exploited backpackers are back post c19.
Nice deal!
These are second class rain damaged stock. Obviously, not all are water damaged, but shoppers at supermarkets/even HF, don't expect an odd mouldy fruit, in a day or so, from their punnet, hence the need to clear at a deep discount.
Made jam with most of mine. 2.5 cups sugar, just over 900gm of strawberries and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Finished result 3 small containers of jam. Expected more, but very tasty and good use for them.
Thanks mate, will check our local and report back.
