      Same. Forget any deal with BWS and cashback. My last cashback request was denied, even though I had followed all instructions. Never had a problem with any other cashback claims besides BWS. I won't be shopping there from now on.

      Same for me. After filing an issue, they always agree to put an entry manually. 2 months down, it will be rejected. By that time, I felt it is not worth the effort and time to chase after it.

      yes most of the time, you have to chase up - I think BWS & Shopback has an issue with tracking.. I have used the shopback app, but still didnt the cashback, I had to chase up and supply invoice etc

          I've recently flagged about 12 users with our team and was able to get the Cashback credited. Up to you if you wanna take the time but I'm not asking to waste my own time as well, I do genuinely want to help.

        • Referring here to a recent spike in issues that I've been tracking since December/January. This corresponds to higher rates of Missing Cashback claims we've been receiving. Sorry to hear you've been having longer term issues, this is likely unrelated to what I'm referring to here, but do reach out if I can do anything to help out here.

          • @gotyourback: Issue for me is after they've confirmed it, they dont apply the promotion, instead of saying being $30 rebate it turns into something like 7 cents

            When it first started happening it confirmed with the full promotion, then overtime turned into cents.

            Currently it just goes to cents…

            6 times at least now, more $150 rebates that had their promotion rebate removed after chasing them up

                Sound like you're choosing to ignore what I've written

                I've made it pretty clear what happened, not recognising pucharses have been made, then when provided detail and its confirmed, not providing the promotional deal… ie $30 or 40% etc… but a measly few cents

                This has happened too many times for it to be a woopsy

                At least the first few times it happened, the promotion was provided, after confirmation…. but slowly it dissappeared and changed to a few cents

      It's BWS' fault, their site sometimes doesn't load the purchase receipt page, if that occurs it will not track. However the appeals for ShopBack have always been honoured for me.

        This is the issue, I believe.

        I've had one failed cashback from BWS, and on that occasion, the purchase receipt page didn't load in the web browser (although I did receive the email/SMS notifications so I thought everything was good-to-go).

    Tracking BWS cashback through Shopback does not work. After a couple of failed attempts I won't do it again.

    Got cashback rejected from BWS last time. Won't use shopback for BWS anymore.

    It is BWS, won't track and you will be out of pocket cashback. No issues with Shopback itself, just the BWS site doesn't track now.

    DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SCAM!

    Following the same process as many other deals on the same PC/Browser, it was not tracked. Raised a claim, and be rejected as "BWS won't process rewards order due to recent updates".

    Everyone should keep away from this unethical business.

    All these people complaining about tracking all seem to share a theme, they use browser based tracking.

    Use their app. SB's app has tracked 100% of the time for me & anyone I have talked to. SB's browser tracking is hot garbage.

      I actually ordered through app, and it failed to track.

      but I mean anyway, even for browser, if it's not working as it's designed then it's not our fault.

      The clicks were registered on SB, indicating that the purchases were not responded at BWS's end, intensionally or un-intentionally.

      Upon raising a claim, BWS refused to validate, intentionally. That's unethical.

    I ve stopped using Shopback, they keep missing purchases

    After I dispute they confirm it was valid, but would not apply the promotion, so instead of say $30 cashback, I get 7c

    Only realised recently what was occurring as I only did one purchased and paid attention to it

    looks like I've got over half a dozen promotions that after being contest and confirmed, turn into 'cents'

    • Shopback's "Savvy Surveys" joint venture with PureProfile is iffy, too. Customer service is much worse than CashRewards in instances of overdue payments or errors. I had some money that was due to be confirmed in early September 2023 and after months of nagging it only got put through the other week.

    • To add to this the first few times they applied they full promo… but as the date got closer it changed to cents…

      The last two times after I challenged it and provided receipts, they didnt even pretend to apply the promo, straight to "7c"

    bws have had plenty of time to fix the issue - reading the comments above they havent fixed anything - they wont -they just get free advertising here over and over for flaky offers - avoid

    As I have mentioned in previous discussions about this matter I have no idea why shop back continues a working relationship with BWS when clearly they can't get their shit together.

    Shopback seems to be more concerned about earning every penny they can get rather than providing a good customer experience. Short-sighted as it significantly erodes confidence in their brand.

For this measly 18% cashback and only $20 max discount (and minimal Everyday Rewards bonus deals), not to mention it takes 3 months to get the cashback…..if it even works and isn't knocked back, not worth the effort to drive to other suburbs, and even there only have 1 carton in stock of what I want, so, will wait for better offers, or start buying from Aldi again (haven't really did for years because of the really good deals we used to get for First Choice and Liquorland (cashback and flybuys) and the great ones we used to get for BWS…..guess they will be losing my business, barely get any deals from them anymore and I used to spend lots of $$$ with them

    Can't trust the shopback/BWS combo at all anymore. It fails to track and when you lodge a claim, they reject it even where you have the click through in your account history and a final invoice showing the transaction was finalised within minutes of that click through.

    Not sure whether BWS or shopback are more at fault but not worth the risk for mine.

  • When have people started having issues?
    I ask, because I've had multiple purchases with them and never had an issue so far up until late last year.
    Admittedly, I'm waiting for several that are still pending, but that's a time thing!

    Shopback tracking is consistently pretty useless. Goodguys 18% promo failed recently, now is the part where you have to chase them up and they hope you give up…

    No idea how that figure was calculated.

    Tracked in just under 6 hours.

    (Used Safari on macOS no vpn, no add blockers)

  • Just ordered from the mobile chrome and worked out all good. Tracking took about 5 hours.

  • my local BWS is a drive thru and BWS drive thru's no longer allow pick-up!!! even though when you look up store details and it quotes pick-up hours ….. argh!!!

    Still loyal to CR and waiting for a deal with them and bws to return. Sad FCL and Liquorland don’t play anymore. Only problem I had with CR once was sorted promptly

      I had a claim rejected through Cash Rewards for a BWS purchase too. It seems the problem is with BWS denying claims, regardless of which cashback company is used. BWS are getting massive promotional benefits through these deals, yet are denying claims, even with evidence provided. As this has been shown to be a widespread occurrence, I would be this in the category of deceptive behaviour / false advertising by BWS and justifies a complaint to ACCC/ Fair Trading.

    I don't get this, the site won't allow me to checkout for pickup because the store is currently closed. But it'll be open tomorrow… Must be a bug, or they're trying to force the delivery option.

    • Yep, had the same issue last night

      Most convenient store, for parking and getting to, closes earlier by an hour than the store I had to select for pick up click and collect, as they were already closed.
      Two other orders, for pick up at two other stores, went through fine, they were still open

      At first I thought was a bws issue, but then when I was able to select pick up at another store, thought was justy prefered store having an issue, but seems now you can select click and collect if the stores closed at time of placing order

  • I've never had a problem with BWS and Shopback tracking since I swapped to BWS when Liquorland/FirstChoice aka Coles Corp stopped cashback
    And I've nver had a problem with BWS orders If not in stock website tells me and gives me a date when I can pickup Yesterday eve placed an order, some in low stock but got an email saying order ready despite website stating order would be ready 26/2 SB email re tracked this morning

  • The offer ran until midnight and went to make an order at 9pm but couldn't complete it because to store closed at 9pm!
    Delivery not possible in my area.
    Bit disappointing :(

    My click activity is titled as Better beer, this is first time, I came across that name and website, how can this be tracked as a different site. I have clicked for cashback through shopback. imgur.com/TLVjVZJ this clearly is not right, no wonder they are getting so many negs, they are trying to cash in members money and not pass it on, I suppose. NEVER SHOPBACK AGAIN.

      Better beer was a cashback promotion through ShopBack and BWS for buying 'Better Beer' brand if I remember correctly.

  • This one failed to track for me despite following all the rules.
    I lodged a missing cashback claim and today received a 'rejected' outcome.
    It's a nonsense template message with a list of possible reasons, none of which are true for my case and no evidence to support it.
    What a con.
