    2.16 S&S… can't afford anymore with inflation!

    • -4

      Albo's Australia

      • BTW the Wage Price Index shows base pay went up 0.9 per cent in the December quarter and 4.2 per cent over the year. That marginally exceeded the consumer price rise of 4.1 per cent over the year to December, meaning employees saw a small annual real pay rise for the first time since March 2021.

So we may be able to afford to eat potato chips in the coming months.

Believe those figures you'll believe anything. Especially considering year after year of the total opposite, or even look at how everything thing energy to insurance to groceries has increased 20-40% in past 2yrs.

Doesn't getting taxed on that 4.2 per cent mean we're still worse off?

          • @Dimz: well you were still getting taxed in the Dec quarter. realistically most are still worse off after LMITO ended.
BTW we should just accept higher prices

      • I see you have one of those pamphlets.

I'm going to wait until Coles CEO for helping to raise the inflation, to resign first. I'm sure these prices that possibly doubled in just a matter of a few years are in no small part because of Woolies and Coles.
Chips from 200 grams, some were even more, down to 185, then 175 and now 170. Soon they'll be 150 then just a matter of time before 100 becomes the new 200.

  • price is good. will it come all smushed into crumbs or bag popped like others have mentioned before though.

same deal with pringles apparently even in the tube it somehow ends up being a tonne of crumbs.

if you intend to make prison food then I guess crumbs is fine…

  • I noticed yesterday Wools in Robina (Qld) has Kettle Chips on runout for $1.50 .. Bundaberg Ginger Beer Flavour .. hurry in .. 😂 … …….

  • Is this a deal? Needs to be less than or equal to 1c for gram. So $1.70 max.
