Recommendation for a Good 'low Profile' Monitor Mount for a 24‘ Graphics Tablet?

Greetings all, recently purchased a Cintiq Pro 24, and is current looking to acquire a monitor mount for it.

I did like Wacom's own flex arm - it's a low rise style and the bottom of the tablet can rest on the table (less stress on the arm and good ergonomic position for me). However, that $739+ tag is really killing it (considering its $160 for a VESA adapter on top).

Just wanted to see if folks have recommendation for a good, similar monitor mount that does the same thing but hopefully for a fraction of the price?

  • 24 feet? I think you mean inches :-) What is the reason for getting an arm, rather than a simpler stand?
Monitor arms are cheap, but designed to have some weight on them. Would be OK if you are not moving it around much.

    Have you checked Amazon?

    • I checked amazon, but dont know how much i would be trusting all the random rebrands and i dont know whats considered a good brand- i didnt have an issue with a 50$ one on my bog standard pc monitor but wanted to get a decent one for my wacom considering I will be moving it around a bit unlike normal arms which just stays still for most of its lifetime

  • Get an arm and not a stand. Don't pay that much for an arm. There are similar arms perhaps second hand for around $150.

The reason for an arm and not a stand is versatility of rotating the screen. I'm disappointed that Wacom have done away with the older generation stands for the 21 UX. They were excellent physically for tilt angles. Also excellent for rotation

I prefer that workflow ahead of touch screen rotation.

    • is there any brands/models you would recommend? Im a bit confused haha - all ive used before are just the cheapo ones for my computer monitor

      • There has got to be some hacks.

The ergotron arm was what I was refering to. The Cintiq 24 is too heavy at 7kg.The Wacom arm you linked is another variation of the earlier Ergotron arms. You may have no real choice but to bite the bullet but to buy a variant from Amazon and return it if it doesn't work. You'll need to find out how much weight it supports. Your Cintiq should have a vesa mount.

Upon inspecting the Wacom arm in the pictures I notice it has a bar support that branches from the vesa mount for stability. Over $700 for the arm is ridiculous imo. While I normally love Wacom tech, it costs a small fortune. I have a Huion Kanvas Pro 24 and certain it's not as good as it's Wacom counterpart. It is affordable tho.
