Could you get two of these 2 pack ones for $199 and then basically have a 4 pack for $398?

This is 1080p not 2K.
They are different camera models, the bunnings linked are the C420 2k cameras. PLE sets are the C400 model (1080p).
kmart had these on special for 199 and then 99 clearance. Bummed I missed the 99 deal. End of 2023. Think it was boxing deal clearance.
Anyone know if there is a way to connect an SSD to the hub instead of relying on an SD card?
Not possible. Just get a micro sd card. I have 100+ detections a day each on a c400s2 kit and running 24/7 since dec 2023 and only just broke 45GiB in total on a 256 GB card.
Your bigger concern would be, how to keep the battery charged, stopping people from jumping up and stealing it, and where to mount it.
Is the live view any good?
I've got the old Arlos and it is so laggy, and the loudspeaker function works maybe 30% of the time. I did get the Arlo maybe 5 years ago though
This guy reviews the 2 camera version. They need to be in range of the hub because they use a proprietary sub 1-GHz wireless to communicate. It will drop the quality if it gets a poor signal.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Hus5OLoQ08&t=158shmm it looks like it isn't a huge upgrade from what I currently have. I use it mostly to keep an eye on the dogs.
Thanks for the vid
I already have a hub from the doorbell.
Anyone want to go quarters? š
Or atleast sell me a spare camera? š
