  • Does anyone in Tassie get these type of offers?

  • +2

These EDR bonuses are so targeted to the point I think they should be banned as deals.

    • +1

There are very targeted ones that are quite account specific and more general promos that many of us receive.
It becomes apparent in teh comments here if enough people say they got it too.
This one, I think might be account specific but I guess we will see

    • Agreed, rare anyone gets the same deal

      • Yeah it's pretty odd - I got it on an account that I just completed two multi week offers. Makes no sense - but I'll take it!

    • +6

Still worthwhile as a reminder for those following at home.

    • +1

It's a good reminder for those who have the offer, a bit sorry for those who are not but that's marketing - you happy if you're targeted products and not happy if not.

  • Got a mixture of spend amounts from 0.01c to $100 pw for either 1000/2000 points pw. 2 offers on most accounts with different in app end dates compared to what's listed in the t&c.

    • +2

Yeah I haven't seen these odd dates before - usually offers start on a Monday?

      • Possibly due to glitches that may be fixed or even offers removed later. The offers are also duplicated in the accounts.

      • +1

Pretty random lately, sometimes don't get the offer til Tuesday.

Noticed offer 2 seems to be valid 22/2-25/2.
Also some have 1000 in title but 2000pw in t&c …see what happens on the 22nd I guess 😁

        • Also some have 1000 in title but 2000pw in t&c …see what happens on the 22nd I guess 😁

          yes, both of mine state:

          Collect 1000 points each week
Collect 1000 points when you spend $50 in-store or online at Woolworths until Sunday, 03 March.

          Terms and Conditions
To collect 1000 points each week, spend at least $50.00 (the qualifying amount) in one or more transactions in-store or online at Woolworths during the promotional period and scan or link your Everyday Rewards Card at checkout. You will collect 2000 points for each week that you boost and meet the qualifying amount. This offer can only be enjoyed once during the promotional period.

  • In the apps there is no mention of minimum spend, but in email minimum spend is $100

  • I got 10000 for 2 weeks of $270 on one account and 2000 for $300 on other

    • +2

We have a big spender here, what are you even doing on Ozb? =)

      • +1

Buying in bulk with discounted gift cards from multiple accounts to take advantage of 10% offers, you?

  • +1

    $0.01?
What can you get for just one cent or the lowest possible amount?

Previously, an OzBargainer efficiently created a search URL for all items listed on Supercheap's website in ascending price order: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/search?pmin=0.00&pmax=10.0….

Could someone be able to generate/create a similar search URL for Woolworths to list all products in ascending price order?

    • Lol. I would try my luck in the produce isle. Letus/you price a/one small mixed lettuce leaf? Or maybe a/one peanut?

    • I'd usually buy 1.5l spring water for $0.80

      • +1

Just buy a reasonably sized seasonal fruit (preferably with barcode tag) would be the easiest and space saving option. My go-to for summer is nectarines.

    • Just buy one of something you would normally buy. If you're buying something you wouldn't normally buy or paying more per kg/L of something just to meet a minimum spend then you are playing into marketing.

      • -1

Not really when the min spend is $0.01

  • Currently doing 3000pts for 2x$50 shop so don't expect to see this but another account got 600 points for $15 spend on laundry products lol.

  • Mine is earn 1000 points

  • Nothing :D

  • +4

Just noticed the offer has been pulled after activation.
Not listed as current/expired or available.

    • +1

Not surprised as I mentioned above.

      • +1

There was a glitch recently too with a BWS offer that was removed (zero points for zero spend)

    • ditto

We can pursue a Class Action against Woolworths for dishonoring their offers, which involves a significant amount of money. Two offers were dishonored, each offering 4000 points over two weeks, totaling 8000 points or $40. This presents a strong Class Action opportunity for lawyers or boutique lawyers.

      • +1

        All action no class 🤔

      • +1

Contact the UN directly. If no good then the Pope is your only hope.

        • +1

I'm getting a t-shirt with: Pope is your only hope!

      • +1

As the event hasn't happened, you can not organise Class Action. You asking for remedy for nothing? 🤔

        • -2

As these offers do not require a minimum spend (or do not require a spend), the event commences upon their posting to everyone's Rewards App or when the Rewarded account holder boosts the offers. Boosting the offers is akin to accepting them, akin to signing a contract. Once boosted, Woolworths is obligated to provide the points as per the offers and can be asked to remedy the points offered.

LPT: When obvious glitches like this are innocently published to OzBargain, it provides an opportunity for the company to correct and remove the offer. Free user experience testing and debugging, courtesy of the OzBargain community.

  • work experience kid again or ai ?

  • Just checked and the offers I boosted are gone…nowhere to be found…to be honest I find Flybys to be much better in that regards that atleast once every 3-4 months ..they offer a free product like a coffee or a juice or something random..woolworths on the other hand..not a single thing…

    • I can count on one hand the number of freebies I've been offered by Flybuys but Everyday Rewards have offered me tons of stuff and I basically never shop at Woolies. I've literally only gone there over a period of months just to redeem freebies haha.

  • -1

Can the mods pin this to the front page of OzBargain and change the title to REVOKED!

This can help those who are going to go visit the store accidentally thinking there are points when none exist.

    • Well offers need to be activated before shopping. So always best to check & activate beforehand. And check conditions.

If no offer is showing in app, it's not available.

      No need for a warning…
As I expected, same Offer has returned in App. Mine is already boosted from before.

  • I have a 500point that expires 5/3

  • +3

It looks like they've fixed the issue, the promo is showing up again in my account.

    • +1

Yep - looks like they have!

    • 👍2000 Bonus pt weekly Offers I'd already Boosted are back in app - boosted ready to use.
Most show no min spend, but 1 is $50.

Woolies seem to be changing their offers. This one is different.
First week in a long time haven't received 2000 Bonus pt for $40 spend weekly Offers.

      • Yes, these ones are out of cycle, probably due to the recent CEO PR issue. Let's wait and see whether weekly spend offers are routinely out on the coming Monday with double dipping possiblity.

        • +1

Doesn't affect me - as shop late in week, so checked offers late yesterday.

Shopped today for 2000 bonus pts on 39c, will do the rest by Sunday (usually in 1 shop).

          • @INFIDEL: Offers are out today. I have one account that received $40 spend for 2000 pts together with $50 spend for 2000 pts this week.

Supposedly $50 spend for 4000 pts.

            • +1

              @Neoika: Did you receive 4000 pt for $50 spend💰?

              Checked this week's offers.
Glad to see 1 continuing 2000pt for $40 spend (wk2 of 3) - my usual
              500pt for 1c min by 14/3

Rarely spend over $40/wk for 1. Getting through stockpile from larger spends with good offers late last year.

              • +2

@INFIDEL: Yes, two offers stacked and worked. It was a rare situation. I got 4k bonus after $50 spend total in multiple shops in a week. Two accounts got 1c spend for 2k and 1k pts like others, but that wouldn't let me buy enough weekly groceries.

This week is the second period of $40 spend for 2k points. There'll be new spend offers out this coming Monday, but for those with no ongoing spend offer, i.e. no double dipping possibility.

  • +1

Its back.. got an email to activate the offer..

  • +3

I just received the email on a whole lot of accounts. All same title but some accounts have spend $50 get 2000 (60% of emails), some are no minimum, get 2000 (40% of emails)

    • Same.

    • Is there any spend requirement? Usually its between 1c and $1 to trigger it

      • +2

There's none listed, and I can confirm an 80c transaction I just did triggered it successfully.

        • +3

          Confirmed - bought 1 x 39c plum, received 2000 bonus pt🎉

  • can anyone be able to generate/create a search URL for Woolworths to list all products in ascending (minimum - maximum) price order?

    • +1

      But why? Who needs that?

Most 1c min Deals come with suggestions. Like the 39c plum ($4.50/kg) for 2000pt I enjoyed

A small piece of fruit / vegetable is about cheapest to qualify for 1c min spend. 15c Bags used to be another cheap item, I suggested in Deals long ago.

      Who needs to know more?
