I stupidly allowed around 180k Qantas points to expire, but they allowed me to get them back if I could complete their 'points challenge'. There isn't much additional information on their website, or even on pointhacks.com.au, so here's the totally of 'conditions' that were included in the email:
"If you are able to earn 2,500 points in the next 6 months from two different sources, we will reinstate all the expired points back to your account."
They go on to mention where to get points (the usual, plus the Woolworths and BP apps, Qantas shop, their wellbeing app, etc.), but I'm not sure what proportion I need to get.
I have a credit card that accrues points, but could I just get 2,499 points on that, and then earn 1 point through some other source?
One would think that this is the case based on the wording, and assuming this email is the only thing offered in terms of an 'agreement'?
