93 points Langhorne Creek Wine Show. $9/Bottle.
"Opaque magenta in colour, there is plushness and richness here. Chocolate, plums, black cherries, cocoa powder, aniseed and bay leaves. The texture is seamless and soft. Impressive length with cuddly tannins, and juicy acidity which runs the full journey. 92. " Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot.
Vineyards: A single-vineyard, single blocks Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Angas River Vineyard in Langhorne Creek.
Harvested: March 2022
Oak maturation: Eight months in two year old French oak.
Story: Always a crowd favourite, Shiraz Cabernet is the classic Australian blend that appeals to pretty much everyone! These two grape varieties love each other with the Shiraz providing fleshy red fruits and body while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds black berries, acidity and fine tannins. Bringing together the best of both varieties, this blend is a true expression of Australian ingenuity, and a wine that's truly one for all!
Nose: The nose exhibits complex aromas of red cherries, blackberries, plums and spicy notes of pepper and cloves.
Palate: The palate is soft and generous with lots of cherries, plums, dark berries and dark chocolate, finished off with great acidity and fine tannins.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2029
