Hi, looking for a friend. Need a desktop gaming PC with monitor for around $1700. Located in Sydney if possible.

    Although, I would probably recommend spending a little more to get on the AMD AM5 platform, which would give better upgrade paths in the future for CPU and RAM:

    Any PC can play games. Space Invaders will work on a 386…
    What games OP wants is anyone's guess.

    I usually purchase from CCPU located in Sydney, their website might seem abit old school but its fairly straight forward. Very good prices too.
