      Hasn't been ~$31 since early 2023.

Prices of all Victorinox SAK also went up last year.

Be careful with the laws regarding walking around with a knife, worth looking up your state based legislation first.

i think you'll be fine as long as you're a youth on bail. worst case scenario: you get a stern talking to.

Yeah, clearly these are not the target of the legislation, and you're very unlikely to be pulled up on it and even less to be charged and successfully prosecuted. Regardless, they are illegal in some states, for example South Australia.

I've carried mine everywhere (except the airport) for 35 years, most of that in SA - as long as you're not doing anything that'll get you patted down, I don't see it ever being a problem.

    Is this MacGyver approve ?

    I miss the Leatherman posts.

  • Deluxe Tinker or bust IMHO - the scissors and pliers are probably the most useful tools besides a knife.

these are great - I had this model but lost it at a Japan airport customs when I'd accidentally left it in my carry-on bag - she held it up to indicate they were keeping it - D'Oh!

so now I don't carry one - as that was a pain I don't want to repeat

  • Victorinox Compact ftw!
