    "rapid 12ms gray-to-gray response time"
    Oh boi…

This is Blurmaster 100, only good for staring at thecsamecstatic page in Office. Even scrolling in Word or Excel would make it tricky to keep up with the text.
You are paying for the Dell name here.

I guess if your budget is really that tight then fair go. But I would not call it awesome bargain.

    • Yeah it's pretty bad. The average monitor has a response time under 10ms. Having a 12ms response time means it's definitely not suitable for any thing other than average office use. Is not for gaming even although the web page on The Good Guys claims "smooth gameplay". Gaming on this might look like a smeary mess.

That's still about 50,000 times faster than the average eye to brain response time (600s) of most big co consultants I've worked with. Give them another 20 minutes or so and they'll manage to move their mouse in response, and somehow lose their cursor in the process…

Unless you absolutely need a 24", for only $25 bucks more this 27" from Officeworks seems like a better buy. https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/philips-27…

Less when it's on sale ;)

    • Went for the Philips because the Dell didn't have a headphone jack for plugging in my Astro A10 Gen 2 headphones.
