Hey I'm in the market for a cheapish TV and notice Aldi selling LG TV?
Usually they sell Bauhn so wondering if this is new norm or what?

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying a Bauhn 4k tv circa 2016…worst speakers I've ever heard on a tv, I'm not exaggerating when I say that my iPhone 7 had speakers that were clearer AND louder. I was amazed it was even possible to fit speakers that bad into something so large.
Who actually uses their TV in-built speakers? Unless it's for a bedroom or something.
If you use TV in-built speakers in your living room, you're missing out.
Probably 95% of people would use the built in speakers.
Any reason you're not dipping into the 2nd hand market? 55" 4K from the likes of Samsung/LG can be had easily for less than half the price after a bit of digging. Add a $100 soundbar if you want better audio and you're golden.
Better than Bauhn, by a km.
