      afaik xbox live subscription (not points) are mostly region free.

      Yes. Correct. Just need to grab an adaptor which you can get at any $2 shop or on eBay for $1.

      Yup pretty good. You get peace of mind of local buying + warranty. May be you can sell the games on ebay or Gumtree later.
