    I cant find any warranty info? from this page it seems it may only be 6-months, is that correct?

    Also:
    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    For faulty items and warranty returns I believe the retailer is responsible for all return shipping costs….

    • This battery (Only 200AH, 100AH, 125AH, 300AH) comes with a 3-year warranty and an additional 2-year pro-ta warranty. After the initial 3 years, customers can still get repairs done for the next 2 years, but they will be responsible for half of the repair costs.

      For faulty items, we will cover all expenses.

      When it comes to warranty returns, we will cover the shipping costs for sending out the replacement.

      Thank you.

      • Thanks… Is that all detailed on the site somewhere? … With the amount of money involved I suspect most people would like to see it in writing..

          Thank you for your reminder. We will instruct our staff to promptly update the website with the detailed information. If you make a purchase in our store, we will include a 3+2 year warranty certificate and an invoice for your records.

            @boost2023: Good to see they don't require watering.

            What cells are in these batteries? What BMS do they use? Can they be used in a vehicle engine bay? Nothing in the specs.

            • @Igaf: No details and very high prices plus the ol' 'drop in replacement' line rings alarm bells.

                @boost2023: Hi. Thanks. I'd already read that, hence my questions. Cell type and BMS info ought to be BASIC at this premium price level.

                The link doesn't provide the info I've asked about.
                1. What cell type? Pouch, cylindrical, or prismatic. If the latter two, what grade?
                2. BMS' range from cheap and 'nasty' - often the weakest link according to people with vast knowledge and experience with LFPs - through to robust, high quality, programmable 'systems'. Do you know which brand and model are used in yours? Many resellers of cheap LFPs don't but at this price point buyers would/should expect that info to be available.
                3. Do you recommend that your batteries are suitable for use in a vehicle engine bay or not?

                  @Igaf: Hello,

                  The battery utilizes IEC certified small-diameter cylindrical cells (IFR26650EC Small Diameter Cylindrical).
                  I will confirm the brand and model of the Battery Management System (BMS) on Monday.
                  I believe LiFePO4 batteries may not be suitable for use under the bonnet (extreme heat). Different opinions may exist on this matter.

                  Best regards

                  @Igaf: 1, A grade 26650.
                  2, The BMS is our own brand. It's built to handle high continuous loads, so you get peak power when you need it, like for an electric motor, etc, and it can also handle higher continuous current for running inverters. Plus, the BMS balances and protects the cells inside the battery to keep everything running smoothly.
                  3. Have already answered.
