We already intake enough Vitamin C from our normal food for it to be any use. You will just pass it out in stool. It's basically eating your money and pooing it back out.
Vitamin C supplements is one thing I don't believe in. As for other supplements there are scientific basis for them.

    • Just because you don't believe in the benefit of Vit C supplementing doesn't make or break the deal.. not neg worthy. Do you have evidence that there's no benefit to supplementing Vit C in addition to dietary intake? And how would you know how much "we" are all getting from our food..

vitamin c is soluble so i think you'll be pissing excess vitamin c out rather than through poo

    • There is a lot of research in Vitamin C Mega-Dosing in Cancer and Cardiovascular Trials
Dont know where you got the part

      and this

Vitamin C supplements is one thing I don't believe in.

Im interested in your theory about that

      • So I wonder why they are called trials if it actually worked?

Well, your $9 VitaminC promotion wasn't in your write up. I can eat two oranges, and get ish over my hands, maybe squirt in a colleagues eye(yeah Darren), so what now?

just eat a tomato/orange/kiwi-fruit instead of taking supplements

    • How many tomatoes/oranges/kiwi-fruits will you have to eat to get the required daily amount of vitamin C?

      • RDA varies between 40 - 95mg per day, depending who you ask. There isn't strong evidence to support the idea that the larger doses typically contained in supplement tablets confer any special benefit beyond the RDA beneficial.

A fresh orange contains 53mg of Vitamin C per 100g. The average orange contains 70mg.
        A kiwifruit contains 90mg per 100g.
