I would like recommendations on decaf coffee beans. I make my own coffee at home and would like to do one regular coffee in the morning and one decaf in the afternoon. I know plenty of people are against the idea of decaf coffee, but I do consume coffee for more than just the caffeine and a recent James Hoffman video (https://youtu.be/yYTSdlOdkn0?si=I0YNQUZcrjUWslzt) had me realising that perhaps the decaf beans I was getting aren't the best. I prefer medium or light roast, and keen for any recommendations along those lines.

I find Lavazza Decaf very good. Nice flavours.
I also prefer a light-medium roast and am currently using Colombia Exelso Decaf by the storehouse roastery. Unfortunately they are not very budget friendly but are definitely very nice (I also haven't sampled very extensively so not sure how they compare to cheaper options)

You didn’t say how you are making the coffee.
For filter I buy this, it’s the only one I know that do both a filter and espresso roast in Decafe. Most do something in the middle or just dark

The Lime Blue decaf beans have served me well, but I do love the Gypsy Espresso decaf too (it’s just exxy)
I have tried most of the decaf beans and found them all to be quite weak - these are the strongest I have tried and and well priced too

I bought decaf from Inglewood and would buy again. They sent me an old batch 2.5 weeks from roast date but even then, I was impressed with how long the beans kept going. Stayed good until about 6 weeks which is rare let alone for decaf.
