Sounds like you didn't go eureka for manuka?
If you want good tasting honey go for leatherwood 😉
Ahh authentic Tassie taste
haven't tried this one in particular, but yeah manuka honey has a very different flavour. I prefer it tbh.
Just get some bees, problem solved.
exactly. bees are free
I went into a pet shop and asked for twelve bees. The shopkeeper counted out thirteen and handed them over.
“You’ve given me one too many.”
“That one is a free bee".
comvita all the way 15+ or higher
Anyone eating it for health benifits has been fooled.
This!
Or read some actual sci papers on Leptospermum scoparium if you're in doubt.
Agree for the most part but they say it helps for strep throat in that video = im sold. I hate nasty throat infections.
Regular honey does too = you're a sucker
Is regular just as effective as manuka for it?
If you actually have strep throat, antibiotics are probably the better way to go…
Good point
Honey is one of those things that everyone, allegedly, loves and continually bangs on about it but I can't stand the stuff. The taste makes me gag.
"comments turned off" - always a good sign
holy shit that video was embarrassing.
Does 2 spoon of umf10+ equal to 1 spoon of umf20+ honey?
Leatherwood honey taste better, likes a real honey! https://www.beevitamins.com.au/products/leatherwood-honey-ta…
Yeah it's better. "Back off bitch, this is a MAN'S honey!" say the sexists even though they're right.
Get ALF 14+ leatherwood if you want an even stronger flavour.
Leatherwood honeycomb is my absolute favourite.
Remember ALF? He's back, in honey form!
Leptospermum scoparium Tree also native to south Australia. Although honey from this tree cannot be called Manuka honey by law.
Wonder is someone knows where this can be sourced locally and without the farking stupid price tag.
Also believe it does fark all for health
Wrong! (at least about the naming thing - and honey does have health benefits but manuka honey specifically isn't proven to be better than any other decent honey)

and it's certainly not one of the better tasting honeys…
Which costco is this? Thanks
Has anyone seen this in Perth Airport Costco
Tried it once and the flavour is very different from what I expected
