Yep, brought back from the dead - a little more modern, but still a classic
$139 for dining???
OzRetailEconomy
For two people, with a bottle of wine with an RRP of $139
We're not the cheapest, but we're running with the best cut of meat we've found (angus for that beefy flavour, we'll have a wagyu on the menu in a few weeks)
We also have very good chefs who know how to treat your meat :)
Sure, you can go to your local for a $15 steak, but this is a very different experience
Ok, I'm confused.
So how much is this deal - for 2 people, or 4 people?
The RRP of $139 for both options?
Is it a entre and main for each person?
Location - "Heart of Australia"? Glenunga?
Actual available times?
2 people $139
4 people $278Heart of Australia? I didn't see that, I'll update
Tuesday - Thursday dinner
@weezlebub: Cheers. Will book in for Tues. Thanks.
@weezlebub Just to confirm two entrees, two mains, and a Chateau Tanunda 50 year vine shiraz for $139?
yep, that's the deal (we got a good price on the wine and it's delicious)
Thank you for the confirmation.
@weezlebub what is the four person price?
$278 thanks Sean
good luck with your venture OP,
but a true OZBargainer will get it from groupon (with extra juicy Cashback from SB/CR/TcbAu) if possible (to bring $139 down to at very least $120 - Cashback + groupon coupons)
It's live now, let me know how low you can go :)
Can you please clarify the pricing? Assuming it is $139 for 2 and then $278 for 4? And the wine retails for $139/bottle?
The wine is showing at $80/bottle
https://chateautanunda.com/product/50-year-old-vines-shiraz-…Restaurant (i.e. retail) is a little more expensive than cellar door, wholesale and Dan Murphy's (but I have seen it a lot more expensive at other restaurants).
I'll pull together another deal for the ozbargainers that doesn't include wine, any thoughts or suggestions on what you'd be looking for?
Good advice, I'll include that in the next one.
The current deal includes the porterhouse steak (we can include the other cuts of meat for a surcharge)
Option 1 : For Two People: Any entree and main with a bottle of Chateau Tanunda 50 year vine shiraz (valued at $139)
Option 2 : For Four People: Any entree and main with two bottles of Chateau Tanunda 50 year vine shiraz (valued at $139)Well, I'll have the Four people deal as it's the same price as the two people. Now that is a bargain.
My bad, one bottle of wine is valued at $139
Hey there, sorry about that, I couldn't find where to edit the original.
$139 for two people and a bottle of wine
$278 for four people and two bottles of wineWhile KFC is good, their steaks don't compare :)
Geez, rough crowd.
Not really, wanted to make a booking but dont know where, when or how much it is for 4 people. Comparing to KFC is a long bow…
This is the old "Cork and Cleaver" location.
