Got a renewal notice from crazy domains for our .com.au domain name.. seems expensive at $105 for 5 years and more expensive rates for less time duration..
Should I stay with them or change to someone else? Who is good and cheaper please? Thanks
For all the hassles and what can go wrong why bother changing to save a couple of dollars a year.
$96 for 5 years seems cheap to me.

Ventraip is $19.95/year but currently on sale for $9.95/year. Not sure if you can get multiple years at the lower price.
I’m with VentraIP now, it’s $19.95 a year, renewing more is the same cost per year.
For new clients they run specials. But for a saving of $10 it’s not worth the hassle doing a transfer.

You don't need to register the domain for 5 years, you can register just for 1 year..
Also are they charging you for extras such as DNS hosting? most other providers will give you this for free, as part of the domain name registration.

The going rate to have someone manage your domain is around $25/year the last time I was looking around for someone to build me a site.
