The last time I needed to restock, the Wormwood 3 pack was the go to. A few Bunnings umbrellas between then and now, but what's today's go to?
Needing 3, decent size like the Golf Wormwoods.

Thanks, but the Wormwoods were like 3 for $60. Blunts are a whole level more expensive
Blunt you buy it for life. Don’t think you can say the same for the Wormwoods
My first Blunt was the Metro when the only option was the Metro or the Classic, it was a long time ago and it’s still going strong. Then got the Sport version when it was released. Both are still in as new condition and can be relied upon.
Are you looking for the ozbargain go to for cheap trash? Try Kmart
Blunt is BIFL.
I bought one over a decade ago and it was in as good as new condition until I lost it.
I love seeing people throw their crappy $20 umbrellas in the bin as I walk by with mine not even flinching at the wind.
I feel like Blunt should be the defacto frugal umbrella.
People often associate frugal with being cheap, and buying cheap things with being smart. But it's not.
You can buy a single Blunt that'll last you decades or you can buy multiple crappy umbrellas that'll cost you the same amount in the long run. It's like shoes.
Blunt Classic, Exec or Sport. The collapsible models are too small.
Haha, I still have my three pack of Wormwoods and the Three pack of Phoenix pocket umbrellas from around the same time. Mine have got plenty of life left in them.
How do the Bunnings umbrellas compare to the Wormwoods?
I miss the Wormwoods.
Ditch the umbrella. Rain jackets are better.
Where do you buy? Any deals?
Good rain jackets will end up costing more.
Do you recommend a good one? Any deals on a good one?
@inherentchoice: Patagonia is decent. But for something that will last a long time the Arcteryx Alpha SV is my go to jacket.
My first one started to break at the laminated seams after 12/13 years, sent it in to see it was repairable or not and they said it wasn’t. Gave me a 30% code to buy a new one and took up that offer.
@omguleh: I guess there's no good deals on these right now though.
I bought this jacket for $9 delivered in 2018 and I still use it as a make shift rain jacket…

Not really waterproof but outer shell can keep some rain off and you won't get cold.
@inherentchoice: Arcteryx stopped having good deals when they closed the outlet store.
Need poll
It's not very big, but in 2010 I bought the Korjo folding travel umbrella for $15. I still have it and use it, and the pop out mechanism still works well. Still keeps the rain off, even though there is now some slight holes in the fabric where the metal has worn through at the hinges. I bought it because of this comment at the time…

With inflation looks like it's now $25…

Or $28 with shipping…
