  For what it's worth, under ACL, Acer would have the responsibility of paying for shipping or collecting faulty products that are large/heavy/hard to remove, per the ACCC website

  Responsibility for returning products

  Businesses are responsible for paying for the shipping costs or collecting faulty products that are large, heavy or hard to remove, such as:

  • widescreen televisions
  • beds
  • installed appliances, like stoves or dishwashers
  • extension ladders stuck in an extended position.

  This must be done within a reasonable time.

  This would only cover claims made under ACL and not under Acer's warranty, but given that warranties don't really cover much more than ACL and a reasonable person would expect a $1,000 computer display to last at least 3 years, it doesn't make much of a difference

    Hi - I actually saw this a while ago when I was picking out parts for my new pc and purchased one. I'm pretty happy with it. It's a bit plain (which can be nice - no silly gamer bits). Compared to what I used to have, I quite like the quality - seems to look good, decent brightness and contrast, and miles better than what I used to have (24" 1080 IPS monitors) - I'm not a monitorphile, though, so ymmv. My only disappointment is mainly with the inbuilt KVM, but this mainly stems from my work laptop's USB-C not working to output to the monitor (even though it works with a dock).

    TLDR - it works, seems nice, good price, I think?

  VA panel, I'm still to be convinced these can be as good as IPS.
  I considered going from 21:9 to 32:9 but don't think its for me.
