DJI Mavic 3 Classic with RC Controller $1889.10 Delivered @ Mobileciti

WEEKEND

Excellent price for the Mavic 3 Classic with RC Controller, below the $2k mark! RRP $2599.

If you are serious about your aerial photos and videos, this is the best bang for buck atm. Touted as having the best camera in any folding drone.
The stand out features from other DJI folding drones besides being the current gen Mavic:

  • Hasselblad 4/3 Camera
  • Night Mode (if you have RePL licence)
  • 46 minutes flight time

It's more stable than the other DJI drones. Last year some guy took an aurora photo with 8s shutter speed! And it was not that long ago that you'd have to buy their flagship Inspire Pro to get a 4/3 camera.

  • Great deal. Honestly they could update this with the same smart tracking as the mini 4 pro, that and vertical filming and this’d be a no brainer.

  • If you are serious about your aerial photos and videos

Then you'd want a tele lens, which this doesn't have.

    • The tele lens is a cool feature if you are just flying around and exploring. It is very limited so not the lens I'd use to take "serious photos". It is only 12mp, does not capture raw (jpeg only), no D-Log, and no manual control settings. P.s. I own a Mavic 3 with dual lens.
If I was given a choice between the Mavic 3 and the Mavic 3 Classic that omits the tele lens for $500 less, I'd take the latter.

      • Mavic 3 firmware was updated and the telephoto lens can now capture RAW, and has manual ISO and shutter speed settings as well as new framerates. Still limited to 12mp, but that is a good enough resolution for most photo purposes when cropping isn't needed.

I don't own any drone, but I'd probably go for the Air 3, it's cheaper and has newer transmission system. It has a smaller camera than Mavic 3, but still good with separate 70mm telephoto.

        • Thanks for bringing the firmware upgrade to my attention. RAW and manual settings would be very welcomed upgrades for the telelens.
