❤️ the subtle strikethrough, especially around 🇦🇺 Day

  • Great torch for the price

  • How do these compare to the Sofirn? Recently bought there q8 plus and love it but I'd like something a little smaller.

    • I swear they all come from the same factory. Sofirn tend to be more pricey but I don't really own any so can't compare. My only complaint with Wuben is that the included batteries can sometimes be crap. I tend to use LG or LiitoKala instead.

      • Haven't done much research on them. With sofirn, they actually output what they claim which is pretty good. I may do a little digging on Wuben.

        • Something like their 12000lm model is closer to 10000lm and handles it for a minute before dropping down to 2600lm. It would seem Shadowhawk mentioned below have a sketchy background unfortunately.

          • @Clear: For the same money and specs, I'm leaning towards the Sc31 pro based on some reviews.

Sofirn SC31 Pro Rechargeable Flashlight 2000 Lumen, Pocket Light with Powerful SST40 LED, Anduril UI for Camping Hiking Fishing etc, Battery and USBC Cable Included https://amzn.asia/d/gZG29DB

            • @Boulders: Besides the power bank functionality (novelty tbh) that's basically the same. You should post it as a deal :P

            • @Boulders: Thanks for this. I’d prefer to get the Sofrin. Do you know if it has a strobe function? I can’t see it listed on the Amazon posting.

Bought the Shadowhawk XHM77.2 yesterday. Hmmm wonder how this compares?

    • I don't think it'll do 20000lm as it claims or it might do for like a second. I'd expect it to be a lot more than this.

Absolutely agree. Id guess these two are comparable. Either way, the Shadowhawk arrived today and seems to be everything I hoped it would be. 39.99 with the coupon code.

        • At that price I'm super tempted to grab one. I've been keeping an eye on the NexTool as I regrettably gave it away and it was really good quality. I'll suss out Shadowhawk more.

  • So, this flashlight is rated IP68. Does that mean it's suitable for use as a diving light?

    • I wouldn't trust a non-diving light for diving if I needed a light.

And from the quick look I had at what an IP rating means, the depth it's rated to is up to the manufacturer to specify (although it's got to be at least 1m), and it's also generally a depth where there's no movement happening, ie the object is stationary. And is also a fresh water rating.

Pretty sure either (or both) Sofirn or Wuben do diving lights though. But no clue on how good those models are.

  • Any idea is that good for cray diving please
