I love these so goddamn much

    • If you don't mind telling me, why do you love them? I've never been much for western energy drinks

I will buy a can if I'm at Woolies.

      • +1

        I just like the taste

        • +1

Fair enough, I just wanted to expand my taste palate lol

          Thank you for sharing :3

  • Good price

For those who prefer ultra flavour, Cole’s 4 pack at
    7.22 is pretty tight.

Sometimes have two a day, so kinda stacks up in price

    • +1

I’d say this deal is as price match of that one

  • +1

Damn thought it was the ultra.

I refuse to buy any Monster that isn't the Ultra, been hearing these are nice but I refuse to drink 55g sugar per can.

      • Each to their own, but personally I'm the same. Would love to try Ultra Watermelon!

        • Tried the C4 no sugar watermelon from woolies the other day, was delicious. 👍

      • Yeah these are really nice, but I don't have them often for that exact reason and the Ultra mango just isn't as good.

Amazingly, still has less sugar than Coke.

      • nice, but the normal ultra just that slightly better taste wise i reckon

  • +1

These things literally taste like Orange Fanta and I see kids addicted to them, what's up with that?

  • No sugar free version :(

  • also half price 4 packs at coles, basically the same per can

  • Unavailable already :(

  • +1
    • Am I just too slow, or are they all unavailable?

      • I see them in stock at that price.

  • +1

240kcals and 55g of sugar per can, hard pass. Great deal I guess if you want kidney stones

    • Maybe if you drink 4 every day, I keep these in the fridge for the odd time I want one.

      You drink alcohol at all?

      • This might help you realise just how much 55g of sugar is;
        https://www.calculateme.com/recipe/55-grams-of-sugar

Nearly 1/4 cup of sugar, in one drink.

What's your point? Do you want me to go through your diet and tell you what things are bad for you?

          • -1

@miicah: Many people just dont realise how many calories they drink. One of these is 10-15% of your daily calories. Its worth pointing out. The original comment wasnt aimed at you, so I dont know why you reacted as if it was a personal attack directed specifically at your diet. Some might draw conclusions as to why you are so sensitive about it, but I wont.

            • @dtc: It's more that everyone knows they are bad for you, they know they have a lot of sugar; it's as bad as the regulars on every Bundy brewed drink deal whinging about the sugar.

We know it has sugar, we don't care. You are allowed to enjoy things that are bad for you.

        • +1

          And it's still less per 100ml than Coke/Pepsi/Fanta etc…

Maybe your kidneys are just super sensitive?

          • -1

@pennypincher98: Sure, but do you drink 1.5 cans of Coke? Or half a can of this? The per 100ml are fine for direct comparisons, but if the serving size is different then you have to take that into account.

How strange would it be for someone to order a coffee with 13 teaspoons of sugar?

            • -1

@ryang: Okay 600ml bottle of coke vs 500ml can, comes out a lower sugar count than a per 100ml comparison.

And umm.. this isn't coffee? I'm not sure if you've realised but coffee beans + milk tend to have a different flavour than carbonated water. Still think it would be stranger if you asked for your coffee with extra B vitamins though.

  • What are the advantages of these energy drinks to coffee?
