      Something is only embarrassing if you are embarrassed, stop caring what others think and enjoy life. I love wearing stupid socks and get compliments from them all the time, I've also not once looked at someone with a silly tie or socks or whatever and judged them, in fact it brightens my day, if you are the sort of person who judges other's for such things, that's what you should be embarrassed about.
