  Still trying to determine whether these under 18s accounts are worth it as opposed to a normal account with higher interest rate under parent's account.

  I like the sound of the Welcome Kit as I think all the other banks have done away with tangible gifts, now favouring digital offerings like an app. Not a luddite by far, but I'd prefer kids oriented information provided via paper. However, yes, the only Vic branch is Glen Waverly… As a kid, it was fun getting these welcome gifts.

  They will probably give you a hard time when you try to take out the bonus $ and they notice you don't use the account (happened to me at the Vic branch with a different account/promotion).
